{DISCONTINUED!!} 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧... 𝐂𝐚𝐤𝐞? ▏ℌ𝔬𝔫𝔢𝔶 𝔵 ℜ𝔢𝔞𝔡𝔢𝔯

[𝒞𝒽𝒶𝓅𝓉𝑒𝓇 8]

   "In the gazebo... center of the hedge maze..." Your mumbling was the only sound around you. You were a brilliant investigator. No criminal case was ever left unsolved in your hands. No matter what mystery was thrown at you, or how many people you had to fight, you always ended up with a closed case. Nothing could puzzle you! ...Except this hedge maze.

   How did I end up here? I thought I turned right at the same fork as last time but I'm back here again!

   You bounded corner after corner, trying to figure out where to go. It was almost four, the time Honey had asked you to meet him in the maze.

   "I can't believe I got lost in a maze at my own school..." You sighed. Giving up wasn't an option, but it did sound pretty nice.

   Wandering through the same turns over and over, you tested every path, each identical to the next. The same leafy green walls enclosed around you, taunting you for your befuddlement.

   This isn't good, if this keeps up, I'm going to be late!

   "Y/n?" You startled at the voice.

   "Oh, Hikaru-chan! Thank goodness! I got lost and-"

   "How did you know it was me?" He interrupted, his brows creased. 

   You shrugged, "I don't know. I just got to know you, so obviously I would be able to tell!"

   Hikaru looked dumbstruck.

   "Oh yeah!" You bumped the top and bottom of your fists, "Hikaru-chan, do you know where the gazebo in the middle of this maze is?"

   He sighed, "...Yeah, I can take you there. It's practically on the other side of the maze though." He crossed his arms.

   "What?! How did I end up this lost...?" You mumbled.

   "I wouldn't know, idiot. You got yourself lost. Now hurry up, Honey-senpai must be waiting."

  "I wasn't talking to you. And don't call me idiot!- please. And- wait, how did you know I was meeting with Honey-senpai?" 

   Hikaru paused, "You don't know? There was a rumor going around you two were going on a date there."

   "..."

   "Y/n?"

   You walked ahead, "Let's get going. You're right, we shouldn't keep Honey-senpai waiting!"

   Hikaru pulled you backwards, blank faced. "Wrong way, idiot."

   Maybe she heard the rumor and decided not to come.

   Honey sat on the stone bench in the gazebo, as he had been for that last hour. 

   I can't really blame her though...

   "Honey-senpai!" You slid to a stop beside him, catching your breath. "S-sorry I'm late, I got a little lost." You looked up apologetically.

   He looked at you, blinking twice. "N/n-chan! I thought you'd never come!" He threw his arms around your neck. "I'm glad you made it, though."

   You hugged him back smiling. "Me too." After a moment you pulled away. "So, why did you call me here, Honey-Senpai?"

   Honey looked away, "I just thought it would be nice for us to hang out outside of the club." 

   "I brought some snacks I made if you want to try some!" You pulled out a cloth bundle filled with some stuff you found at the store a few days ago.
