"I told you it was a dumb idea."

It was a normal club day, as any other. You stood between Tamaki and Kyoya as they argued their points.

"But hosting the festival brought in more club revenue! And N/n-chan agrees with me, right?" Tamaki gave you a pleading look.

You narrowed your eyes at him. "No, Suoh-chan. I don't."

Tamaki had decided to host what he called a 'Pet Festival'. He encouraged all the guests to bring their pets to the music room for the day. For an additional fee, of course. At first, you were amazed to see all the exotic and familiar pets students brought in. One lady brought in a pure breed bull mastiff which she claimed had won four first place ribbons. It was huge and had drool dripping from its maw. Another brought an exotic parrot which was supposedly the last of its kind. One even had a few dozen peacock spiders, which were in a huge cage their butler pushed around the clubroom.

This is where things started to go downhill.

One of your regulars had brought in a persian cat. He was sitting at your table with it on his lap when it began hissing. The lady's dog had gotten away from her and was stalking towards the cat, growling lowly.

Not knowing what to do, you stood up. The dog was near where Mori and Honey were seated, listening to a girl talk about how talented her pet fish was. You cupped one hand to your mouth, and pointing at the dog with the other, "Honey, Mori! That dog is hunting his cat!"

They turned, along with everyone in the room. Right then, the dog decided to leap towards your guest. A shrill cry you didn't think even a kindergartener could come close to mimicking came from his mouth as he dropped his cat and ran.

The poor thing darted away with the dog right on its tail. It dashed towards the opening door, seeing an escape. What it was met with was something much worse. A giant horse was being squeezed through the door to the club room, its owner holding the reins. As the cat ran under the horse, the dog came face planting into its chest. The horse reared its front legs and ran into the club room.

Guests screamed as it came barreling towards them. Tables and chairs were being blown over like bowling pins.

You still stood where you were, watching things unfold. You walked over to Honey and Mori's table. "Do you think we should be doing something right now?"

Honey gave you a blank stare. "Nope."

  Mori nodded along with him.

You sighed before your breath caught as you heard a loud clatter from nearby. The glass cage lay scattered on the floor as what looked like hundreds of colorful spiders came crawling out. Now you were freaking out.

You jump up onto a table, paranoia creeping in as you scanned the surface for movement.

Then you saw it. One of the spiders had come crawling up the side of the table. You watched in horror as it slowly crawled closer. Finally, a hero came. Honey had grabbed a nearby napkin and picked up the spider. He carefully wrapped it so it couldn't escape and gently dropped it into the jar the butler was hurriedly shoving in as many of the marble-sized monsters as possible. The owner, a girl with light, frizzy hair and freckles was reassuring everyone how they couldn't pierce skin, which was a good thing since they were slightly venomous.

Eventually, things settled down. You had thanked Honey, who had given you a quick nod before rushing off. Probably to get the rest of the spiders put away. Kyoya had a made a sign that read, 'No Pets Allowed, Under ANY Circumstances' in red ink and glued it to the door.

"But N/n-chan! didn't you love seeing all the adorable animals everyone brought in today." Tamaki gave you puppy eyes, telling you to say what he wanted.

You glared at him, "That's beside the point, today was absolute chaos!" You pinched the bridge of your nose. Tamaki wouldn't even try to understand anyways.

Tamaki pouted, then mused about how wrong you and Kyoya were. You ignored him.

Why does he have to be such a pain sometimes?

"N/n-chan?" You turned to see honey behind you.

You smiled, "Do you need anything Honey-senpai?"

He shook his head, I just wanted to see if you were okay. You looked really frightened earlier."

You deepened your smile and let out a shaky laugh, "I'm fine now, thank you."

"Are you sure? It looked like you were about to scream or w-"

You laughed again, you weren't smiling this time. "I'm fine now Honey-senpai, so why don't we go get some cake?" You grabbed Honey's hand and hurriedly walked over to the kitchen.

The other hosts watched your retreating figures with knowing smiles. Both of your cheeks were flushing, for different reasons, yes. But it didn't matter to them.

Hello! Thank you so much for reading! It makes me really happy -and embarrassed- when I see how many people are reading this! A few months ago, summer break ended, and I've been finding it hard to balance school stuff and my free time. Especially since I have other hobbies and things to do. I decided that I'll write shorter and unedited chapters from now on, since they only take a couple hours and are easier to motivate myself to write. I have no plans for this story, it's honestly taken a 180° turn since the start, but I'll finish it one day. Hopefully. Anyways, cya in the next chapter! ;D
