i got ready for bed as we watched me, whilst leaning on the door frame.
"can you turn off the light?" i asked.
"no darling, i'm trying to keep you awake... remember?"
i rolled my eyes as he came to the bed, sitting himself down like he did before.
"what can we do..." eddie asked.
"sleep" i said, making him laugh.
"want to play dungeons and dragons?" he asked.
"oh wait, weren't you meant to 'catch me up' on yesterdays session?" i asked.
"oh i was but- that was um.. i was just distracted by the fact that we were- alike"
"okay, now what did you want to catch me up on"
"you're feisty." he said.
"that's what i'm like.." i said.
"at night" i whispered.
i saw him immediately smile, "what was that?" he asked.
"oh nothing, now get me to catch up on dungeons and dragons"
"okay y/n, i just wanted to get to know you okay?" he said as i looked at him confused.
"and i'm glad i got to know you today" he said
"what do you mean?"
"oh come on! i just never noticed how mesmerising you were until yesterday"
i blushed at his comment but didn't smile "so you never really noticed me 4 months prior?"
his eyes widened "no.. not like that y/n.. i meant that- you and henderson were really close. listen i don't want to make this weird or anything-"
"just say it, i'll probably forget it by tomorrow since i'm high as fuck"
he smiled before being serious again "i thought there were two love birds in the hellfire club and i hated that" he said.
"you thought me and dustin were together?"
"yeah..?"
i burst out into laughter.
"he has a girlfriend but it's not me!" i said.
"yeah yeah whatever" he said , embarrassed.
"anyways.. notice how i'm keeping you awake?" he said.
"you are.." i said, realising i'm still awake.
"amazing, how about i tell you some stories? maybe some about you, because i do have a few.."
"you do?"
"yeah, despite me "hating" you and dustin spending so much time together, i have had many thoughts about you"
"you did?"
"yeah! and i still do, but i guess those thoughts will have an answer after i get to know you better hopefully" eddie said.
"go ahead, tell me something"
"you know when you first joined hawkins.. you seemed pretty familiar"
"i did?"
"yeah.. in fact we actually hung out before"
"what?"
"you don't remember?"
"no.. im sorr-"
"it's okay.."
