"My turn~"
Kitsune purred from deep inside his throat. The sound made the two men swallow hard.
"How dumb do you think I am?"
His purr turned into growl and he rolled his neck back around. Taking his deadly gaze off of the sky and locking it back on the two men.

The two men froze in their tracks.
“W-what?!”
Kakashi stuttered.

“I said ‘how, fucking, dumb, do you think, I am’?”
Kitsune growled as he sat up.
The two men looked between themselves as they tried to figure out what the kid was referring to.

All of the sudden Kitsune jumped off the box he was on and, generating Chakra to one hand and one foot, he stuck high on a wall of the alley. The two Jonin were confused at first but then they saw why he made such a move. As another Jonin slowly came up from the ground, under the box. It was a lady with brown, curly hair, and strange red eyes. She looked frustrated to have been discovered in her hiding spot.

"Took you long enough Kureni! Are you the only one?"
Asume asked the lady known as Kureni.

"No, there are more just around the corner!"
She replied, not taking her eyes off the kid, high on the wall.

"And that's my que to leave!"
Kitsune sneered down at the three Jonin, who were soon joined by four or five more.
Even though Kitsune said he needed to leave, he stayed on the wall. He seemed to be watching the sky.
One Jonin saw this as his opportunity and shot a fire style jutsu at him. When the fire cleared the kid was gone. Confused, the jonin began to look around for him frantically.

"Up there!"
One yelled, pointing straight up at the sky. The other Jonin looked up in the same direction and felt fear creep down their spins.

There, in the sky, floating, with half his body turned to birds, was Itachi Uchiha. The young child could be found sitting quite comfortably on his shoulder. Swinging his leg back and forth, almost as a tease.
"Hahah, I had fun playing with you two! We'll finish our game another day! See you soon~."
Kitsune giggled, referring to Kakashi and Asuma.
With that he and Itachi dispersed into crows and were gone with the wind.

"What now, Kakashi?"
Asuma asked, turning back to his friend, who still watched the sky. However, no answer came from Kakashi. He simply stared hard at the sky, as if it were the enemy that took away their lead on the Akatsuki.
"Kakashi?"
Asuma asked again in a much more concerned way.
Kakashi's expression didn't change as he turned to look at Asuma.

"What else can we do? They are probably already somewhere outside of the village. The only thing we can do is report to the hokage and see what he tells us to do."
Asuma along with several others sighed at their loss.

Kakashi turned with a very thoughtful face and headed for the hokage tower. He had a strange feeling about that kid. Everything about him seemed off, like a puzzle but not all the pieces were fitting. It made Kakashi feel uneasy and he didn't like it.

He and the other men finished their report to the hokage, and he seemed to think long and hard about the situation.
"Well I think the only thing we can do now is send out a squad to search the surrounding towns."
The old man spoke, before he could say more or even give any orders he was interrupted by another.

"Lord hokage, I ask that the ones you send out be my anbu. They are trained and skilled enough to handle this kind of threat."
Donzo asked, stepping out of the corner he had been sitting in, as he listened to the report.
The Hokage thought for a moment, before sighing and consenting to Donzo's request with a wave of his hand.

"Very well Donzo, handle this your way. As for the rest of you, you may go. Except… for you Kakashi. I would like to speak with you!"

"As would I!"
Donzo chimed in.
