A revised version of the first charter!
I am officially re-writing this story! I hope you like it!

Obito walked through the streets of the hidden leaf looking around at the damages the nine tails had still left after all these years. It had been around five years since he attacked the village; he was now nineteen. He still had the same tiger striped mask but his hair had grown out quite a bit in the past few years. It was winter time and snow crunched beneath his feet. There weren't very many people walking about but the ones that were outside quickly hurried to find warm shelter. Obito however just walked slowly down the familiar streets looking up at the snow that gently glided down from the Heavens.

A distant yelp of pain caused Tobi to break out of his thoughts and he began to follow it. Not for any particular purpose. He was wandering after all. No clear destination in mind. As it grew louder you could start to hear the chuckling of other children. Tobi walked around the back of a building and there were around four children. Three of which were obviously older and much bigger than the fourth one, who was a small blond boy, no older than five or six. He was being pushed back and forth between the other boys who called him names. The more he told them to stop the harder they would shove him. He stumbled and fell on the ground. He tried to get up but was pushed down again. The older boys pointed and laughed at the little blond as he tried to hold back tears.
Tobi felt numb inside, cold like the air around him. He turned and started to walk away but a little voice in the back of his mind called to him. Why? He didn't know.

Remember when that was us? Remember how much we prayed for somebody, anybody to intervene and stop them? And now you're just going to walk away?

Tobi tried to ignore the voice but with every step the louder it got. Soon he blacked out. The next thing he knew he was standing next to one of the older boys who was about to hit the blond, Tobi found himself holding the boy's arm at bay.
"And what, may I ask, are you doing young man?"
Tobi asked in his deep, threatening, voice. All four children were frozen as they stared at the tall man. The child that Tobi was holding started to grow weak in the knees; just at the sight of the tall, masked figure.
"You know if an adult asks you a question it's normally polite to answer them! Wouldn't you agree?"
Tobi said as he tilted his head to the side. He didn't fully think of himself as n adult yet but to these children he might as well be. The little boy tried to speak up but nothing came out. They all stood there frozen in the cold as minute after minute dragged by. Tobi looked up at the sky then back down at the children.
"Getting dark, don't you think? Better run home!"
Tobi said releasing the kid's hand. The kids still stood frozen for a moment not knowing what to do .

"C-come on man! Let's go!"
One of them screeched and the whole lot went running away. Tobi watched after them as they ran. Turning to the blond still on the ground.

"Hehe sorry if I scared ya'. You good?"
Tobi asked bending over to look down at the child as his voice switched to a high pitched, squeaky one. Tobi was shocked when the little blond got up and hugged him around his legs. He stumbled back. Hands held awkwardly in the air. The only time he had been allowed out was for the nine tails attack and now. And he had to beg for this time. Had to beg like a dog on the floor just to breath wind kissed air. He looks around for anyone better suited for the job of child care but there was nobody. He would have to figure this out on his own. Reaching one hand down he patted the child on the head.
"Uh-there, there? Um it's okay."
He stuttered still looking around for something to do with this child that won't let go of him. The child looked up at him with the biggest, most dazzling pair of blue eyes Tobi had ever seen. They seemed to be able to see right through Tobi's mask and into his cold, black, soul. Which made him feel a little uncomfortable.

"Thank you mister!!!"
The child beamed as he flashed the brightest and warmest smile at Tobi.

"U-uh...s-sure kid umm. Oh uh hey where are your parents?"
Tobi asked, still trying to collect himself after the shock of this child's actions.
