Chapter Ten: "Moving In"

12 p.m.
Michael's POV

   Today's the big day she's fianally moving in one of my many fantasies are coming true. I asked her last night I'm surprised she said yes, but at the same time I knew she would say yes one step closer to making Vanessa mine forever I'm hoping it will be soon I don't want to rush it and make her feel uneasy.   I waited outside infront of the car for her, and her things when finally she arrived I helped her place her things in my trunk I pulled off we headed to get something to eat at our favorite restaurant.

   When we sat down, and got our food Vanessa got this look in her eye I knew that look she was going to ask me a question. I don't know what her question is but I trust it.

   "Michael, you know since I'm moving in and stuff do you think it's possible that you'd want to set up a date with our families?." I saw her brown iris's light up with this sparkle of excitement I thought about it I am not sure though because my father is a tough cookie to get through to don't get me wrong I love my father dearly without my father pushing and driving my family out of poverty out of I want to say love but I don't want to say that he showed it in a different way than I would've loved to experience as a kid.  I'm not opposed to Vanessa meeting my family, or me meeting hers.

   "Sure I'd love for you to meet my family. My family their nice, loving, caring people. My father though he's a little tough, but he'll come around eventually." I said taking a sip of my drink.  Vanessa, started to seem concerned when I said that my dad was a tough man I understand why she would feel like that, and I appreciate it. 

   "Michael, you can always talk to me I know that whatever happened in the past with your father it's okay I may not understand full force because I wasn't present through that but I can try. I have this feeling of deep connection with you I don't even think it's the sex it helps but it's not cannon. I want to help you I want to be there for you I want to give you things like love, and happiness I don't want to ever feel like I'm letting you down."  I felt the sincerity in her voice that it pulled my heart strings. My eyes started to water I took an napkin from the napkin holder on the table to dab my watery eyes.

   I pulled myself together, and I gave her a soft tender kiss then we finished our lunch. We headed back to my mansion to finish moving her belongings in.  I held some of her bags as we walked inside, I had cleared off some shelves in my master bathroom and some space in my super closet I didn't really use that much space anyways so mainly her items did. It didn't take us long to distribute her things within my room and around the house.

  Hours passed we put the finishing touches with her stuff in place we decided to sit on sectional in the living room I had a nice 4K curved flatscreened TV mounted on the wall above the fireplace about 3in above the mantel. Along the mantel I had many different kinds of nick nacks as well family photos and record plaques.
Made feel good about myself to be able to share this space with someone I deeply cared about instead of with someone who wanted to spend their main time in my sheets if it was only for that reason with her which it's not I wouldn't even asked her to move in with me.

We decided to have a binge watch of our favorite movies/tv shows who knew we'd have a lot in common cinema wise?.  It turned to nighttime and we fell asleep on the couch.
