Chapter Six-The Rain in a Sunny State

Kaminari woke up with a bright smile on his face. For some reason he just felt really good about today despite his horrid hangover from over drinking last night. He turned around and looked in confusion as his blurry memory recalls Sero and him sleeping in the same bed last night, however the raven haired boy didn't even seem to be in the vicinity of the confused blonde.

Kaminari stretched and slipped his burgundy velvet slippers. He yawned and made his way to the kitchen. Mina was the only person in the dorm and was making two D-I-Y cappuccinos. Her normally neat hair was messily put into an afro puff ponytail and her eyeliner was smudged all over her eyelids.

"Hey hun, how'd you sleep?" Mina asked with a sweet smile as she lightly poured the foamed milk into the coffee mixture. "I made you a cappuccino."

"You're being suspiciously nice Ash." Kaminari said with a raised eyebrow. "What's up?"

Mina took a deep breath and bit her bottom lip, which only had remains of her purple lipstick from last night. "Someone in the BakuSquad is on a date right now."

"Cool." Kaminari said with a laugh. "Is Bakugo finally going to get some pussy?"

"He gets enough!" Mina said a little louder than she hoped.

Kaminari looked at her with a smirk as he watched her golden-brown ears get a bit red.

"No it's not Bakugo." Mina said as she covered her ears.

"Is the person Kirishima?" Kaminari guessed, tapping his chin.

"No"

Kaminari thought for awhile and scratched his head as he tried to figure out who would be on a date right now. He gasped in shock when he finally got his answer.

He cleared his throat and confidently asked: "Is it you, Ash?"

Mina slapped her forehead and chuckled at Kaminari's ability to be an utter and complete idiot. "No Kaminari, it's Sero."

"Oh." Kaminari said with a mix of emotions in his voice. "Who is he on a date with?"

"Jiro."

Kaminari's heart dropped instantly, and he felt a lump forming in his throat. He smiled even though he felt his eyes tear up.

"Good for him, I know how much he likes her." Kaminari said with his voice cracking a little.

"Are you going to be okay?" Mina asked in concern.

"I'm going to be fine." Kaminari replied with a small smile.

"Alright." Mina said giving Kaminari a sympathetic smile and then walking towards the front door. "I have to go get some aspirin from the store, you ran out."

Kaminari nodded and watched Mina walk out of his dorm and sighed. He grabbed the cappuccino and had a small sip.

Bad idea.

Kaminari's stomach started to twist and turn, and he ran to the bathroom. He kneeled in front of the toilet and vomited his lunch from yesterday. Tears ran down his face as the stomach acid and mushed up food stung his throat. He clutched his stomach as more and more food came up his throat and into the toilet until it stopped.
