At the end of the second day (second week), Kaminari paced nervously around the chalk-colored room. Faye carefully watched the boy speed-walk around the room and giggled.
"What's troubling you, sport?" Faye questioned, sitting on an invisible chair and crossing her legs.
"I want to live, but I don't want to go yet." Kaminari mumbled, standing still for a second before going back to pacing.
"You know, you don't have to go yet." Faye reminded Kaminari, stroking her own hair. "You could stay for two more days."
"I know, but my family and friends probably miss me." Kaminari said, shaking his head. "Not to mention, I've missed a ton of school."
"Then go back." Faye replied, sucking on a lollipop that appeared in her hand.
"But I don't want to leave you."
"Listen Kaminari, you have a family who loves and misses you," Faye sighed with a small smile. "You have all of the afterlife to be my friend, but only a lifetime to be with your friends on Earth."
"So you're saying I should go?" Kaminari asked, feeling confused and dejected.
"I'm saying you shouldn't die for me." Faye said, crossing her arms. "You've known me for a day and you're willing to give up your life for me?"
"No- I mean kind of- I don't know." Kaminari stuttered, scratching the back of his arm.
"What about Sero," Faye started, looking at Kaminari for an answer. "Wouldn't you miss him?"
"He'll be fine without me."
Faye stared at Kaminari, wondering how oblivious he could be. She drew a square in the air with her fingertips and blew the image towards Kaminari. A man with his head down, crying at the foot of a hospital bed appeared in front of Kaminari. Suddenly, the man pulled his his head and Kaminari could see it was Sero. However, Sero had dark circles under his eyes as if he hadn't sleep for days, his skin looked pale as if he's barely eaten, and his hair looked hella greasy.
"Oh my." Kaminari gasped, looking at the shell of the man that used to be his cheery boyfriend.
"He's devastated, Kams; imagine what's going to happen if you end up flatlining." Faye added, bringing the image closer to her before letting it poof into non-existence.
"Dang." Kaminari whispered, leaning against the wall behind him and falling until he was sitting down.
"Please choose wisely on your decision." Faye pleaded, standing up from her chair. "Don't let me become a factor."
"Fine." Kaminari murmured, looking down at his lap. "I'm ready to make my decision."

|Sero sat back in the hospital chair playing games on his phone. To be fair, it was getting quite boring watching Kaminari sleep for hours on end. Every so often he would glancing over at Kaminari to see if he had woken up yet before going back to his phone. Nonetheless, that cycle had been disrupted once Sero heard a loud, consistent high-pitched noise coming from one of medical equipments around Kaminari.
Sero assumed it was nothing and resumed the game he was playing. At least until a group of doctors ran into the room and started to perform cardioversion on Kaminari. Being ignored by the doctors, Sero watched in uncertainty and with a worrisome look as the doctors charged up the defibrillator and held it above Kaminari's chest.
One
An electric pulse shot through Kaminari's body.No response from Kaminari.
Two
Another electric pulse was shot though Kaminari's body.No response.
Come on, dude. Sero thought, sitting at the edge of seat. I don't want to lose you.
Three
Kaminari sat up suddenly with a deep inhale, his low iron causing him the fall back onto the hospital bed.The doctors stayed in the room for a few minutes to make sure Kaminari was okay before they eventually had to leave due to another patient flatlining. Leaving Sero and Kaminari alone.
Sero got up from his seat and hesitatingly walked over to the side of Kaminari's bed.
"Denki?" Sero asked, looking at the weak boy. "Are you alright?"
"That bitch screwed me." Kaminari's whispered, his voice feeling very dry and hoarse.
"Who screwed you?" Sero questioned, his eyes tearing up in disbelief of his awake 'boyfriend'.
"I asked to stay another day." Kaminari mumbled, with a soft chuckle. "I feel like shit."
"I don't know what you're talking about." Sero laughed, heavy tears falling down his cheek.
Sero engulfed Kaminari in the biggest hug he'd ever given anyone, and Kaminari happily reciprocated the action, smiling against Sero's shoulder. Sero's heavy tears turning into nasty sobs as Kaminari ran his hands up and down Sero's back. Sero sat back and really took time to admire his one true love that was finally awake. Sero placed his hand on Kaminari's cheek placed a short but meaningful, gentle kiss onto Kaminari's lips.
"Nothing's going on between me and your sister." Sero said, using his freehand to hold Kaminari's.
"I know, baby." Kaminari smiled, interlocking their fingers.
