Chapter Fourteen - The Left-Out Tea

Kaminari tossed and turned in Sero's bed for hours while Sero noisy snored in his ear. Kaminari couldn't believe how Sero could just brush off something as important and life changing as that; I mean he just found out his crush/unlabeled lover had an abusive, controlling, mentally unstable, and homophobic mother who (somewhat unknowingly) forced her son into sexual relationships with people he didn't want to be with.

On one hand, Kaminari wanted to strangle and smack some sense into her; but on the other hand he wanted to give Sero the love his mother failed to give him. It also made alot of sense to why Sero didn't want to add a label for right now; because if they got into a real relationship, it would feel like he was disobeying and dissapointing his mother.

Kaminari looked at the sleeping Sero, who had drool spilling out of his mouth, and frowned. How could anybody ever hurt someone so pretty and kind. The whole thing just made Kaminari absolutely pissed, but sadly he knew there was nothing he could do about it. Kaminari placed his hand on Sero's neck and pressed a quick kiss on his lips before drifted into a deep sleep. Kaminari felt like he was just getting to sleep when he was violently shaken by Sero.

"Bro, what the hell." Kaminari muttered, confused to why Sero just teleported out of the bed.

"Come on, we're going to be late for our lectures." Sero whispered, shaking Kaminari a little more.

"What are you talking about?" Kaminari mumbled, still extremely confused.

"Come on!" Sero exclaimed, slightly pinching Kaminari's nose.

Kaminari jolted upwards at the sudden feeling and held his nose. It didn't hurt, but it just felt so weird that Kaminari automatically flinched at the feeling.

"What time is it?" Kaminari asked, rubbing his eyes and yawned.

"It's nine thirty in the morning."

"Holy shit!" Kaminari yelled jumping out of Seros bed and running towards the front door.

"See you in the classroom then." Sero shouted after Kaminari as he ran out the door.

Sero chuckled and walked out of his room to find Mina smirking next to his room. Sero was startled by Mina's sudden appearance and slightly jumped.

"Mina, what the hell are you doing here?" Sero asked, trying to calm down his rapidly beating heart from the fright.

"Why was Kaminari in your room last night?" Mina asked, tilting her head to the side.

"None of your business." Ser stated, turning around and walking towards the lift.

"Omg, did you guys fuck?" Mina shrieked excitingly, walking behind Sero.

"No, I'm not gay." Sero replied, muttering.

"Didn't you just tell me you had a crush on him last night?" Mina asked, getting a bit confused.

"That's different, just because I like one guy doesn't make me gay." Sero said, his voice getting a bit strained.

"Okay geez." Mina said, putting her hands up to show she meant no harm.

Sero sighed, and walked onto the elevator to lean on the side. Mina got in the elevator right after Sero and scratched her head. The two stood in complete silence for three seconds before Sero spoke up.

"Hey Ash, can you not tell anyone about the situation last night." Sero asked nervously.

"Aww, but the juicy drama." Mina whined, pouting a little.

"Mina, I'm serious." Sero replied, turning over to Mina.

Mina looked at Sero's stern face and sighed. They'd been friends long enough that Mina knew behind that mean face was a scared and insecure little boy.

"Fine Fanta-Man." Mina smiled, ruffling Sero's hair.

"I told you guys to stop calling me that!" Sero exclaimed, his stern demeanor slipping entirely.

Fun fact: The squad caught Sero passionately making out with a bottle of Fanta when they were all seventeen. Not-So-Fun-Fact: Sero got so scared and embarrassed that he dropped the bottle and it exploded all over him and his stuff.

"Don't recall that at all, Fanta-Man." Mina giggled, playfully pushing him. "But, I do have a question."

"Shoot." Sero said, jokingly pouting at the nickname.

"Are you and Kam-bro dating now?" Mina asked, gently nudging Sero's side.

She watched his face go white and his body stiffened.

"Uhm, Sero?" Mina frowned, extremely scared by Sero's change in energy.

Just then the elevator digged and they were at the bottom floor. Before the doors even opened all the way, Sero ran out as fast as he could; which left Mina very confused, until it all became very clear.

Sero was hiding something about him and Kaminari, and Mina did not appreciate being left out of the secret. She would have to find out even if it killed her.
