"How much longer?" George whined from the backseat of the car.

"Two minutes." I said, pausing to check the navigation on my phone once again.

"I swear you said two minutes like ten minutes ago, Dream." George replied.

"Yeah, well there's traffic. And Sapnap drives like a grandma, so." I said, looking over at Sap in the driver's seat.

"I drive like a grandma cuz you yelled at me last time we drove together. You told me I was driving 'recklessly' and I needed to 'slow the fuck down'. Is this slow enough for you?" Sapnap joked, driving extra slow on purpose and probably pissing off the person behind him.

"Obviously don't go that slow, idiot." I shoved Sapnap's shoulder, causing the car to jerk slightly.

"Hey! Don't touch the driver. The injured and fragile driver." Sapnap said back.

I scoffed. " 'Injured'. It's been almost two weeks. You don't have a concussion anymore, idiot."

I yawned and stretched my arms up over my head, placing my hands on the back of my seat's headrest to stretch out my shoulders. After only a few seconds of my hands being there, I felt a gentle touch on one of my hands.

George began caressing my hand from the seat behind me, tickling his fingertips on the back of my hand back and forth. He then snuck his fingers in between mine and intertwined our hands together. My breath slowed down as I allowed my back to sink way into the car seat.

It felt weird doing this in front of Sapnap- like we were going behind his back somehow. Well right now, we were actually physically going behind his back because he couldn't see what was going on behind him.

But in a way, it also felt exciting, mysterious, invigorating to interact with George like this in secret. It was like we were star-crossed lovers who couldn't be seen together or else the whole plot would go to shit. Except, it's not really like that...but I could still see them making a movie out of our relationship.

A few moments later we arrived at the vacation house, and a woman was sat outside on the front porch smiling at us.

Sapnap leaned in to me after he parked the car, whispering:

"You didn't tell me Lisa was absolutely gorgeous." Sap grinned, peering up at the woman in awe.

I scoffed. "That's not Lisa, dumbass. Lisa's like fifty...I dunno who that is. Maybe she hired someone to come in and greet her guests when they arrive?"

We got out of the car and went up to the woman to say hi to her.

"Hi y'all, welcome! So, which one of you is Dream?" She asked, looking between the three of us.

I gave her a small wave, smiling at her. "That would be me."

She held out her hand and gave me a very firm handshake. "Hi Dream! And you two are-"

"Sapnap. Hello." Sap said, jumping at the opportunity to shake this woman's hand.

I watched as she shook Sap and then George's hands, and they all exchanged greetings.
