*Dream's POV*

George left for the UK a few hours ago, and I wasn't prepared for how shitty that would make me feel. Ever since that night in the hotel when George said he was keeping his London apartment 'just in case' as a place for him to 'escape' to, I've had trust issues with him. The way he worded it made it seem like he expected that he was going to escape back to London unannounced- which he did end up doing.

I wanted to believe he really traveled there for that Zoey girl. I really wanted to believe that. But some part of me was also thinking that he just wanted a break from me- that I had been too overbearing lately. And maybe I had been.

I'd hold onto him whenever we're in any public place, like a mother duck watching over her duckling. I'd control how the speed of this relationship progressed, and basically gave him no say in that. We kissed when I wanted us to kiss, we shared beds for the first time when I thought it was the right time, we fucked for the first time because I was finally ready to. Me, me, me, me, me, me-

"Dream?" I heard Sapnap calling from outside my bedroom.

"What?" I yelled back, looking towards my closed door.

"Can I come in?" Sap asked.

I walked up to my door, unlocking and opening it, seeing a dressed-up Sapnap with his wallet in his hand. He followed me into my room, flopping down on my bed as I sat at my desk chair.

"What's up?" Sapnap asked, watching me continue to edit a video on my computer.

"Nothing...what's up with you?" I responded back, wondering in my head what he wanted, but not asking it out loud.

"I'm just checking in on you, cuz...you've been in your room for most of the day." Sap said.

I could feel him looking at me from across the room- his eyes focused on me as if I was going to run away at any second like a skittish cat.

I shrugged. "There's not much to do without George here, so..."

"Okay, well, I'm going out to that Thai restaurant with Punz and a few of his friends later tonight, and then we're going to a club after. You're invited. Punz would love to see you- it's been a while since you've hung out with him." Sap said, taking off his hat to fix his hair while staring at himself in the mirror hung on my wall.

"I've-I've got a lot of editing to do, so I'm gonna have to decline that offer." I replied, not looking up from my computer screen for even a second.

Sap got up from my bed, walking over to me. "You sure? That Thai restaurant has the best red curry ever. Seriously, it's-"

"I said I'm all set." I interrupted him, clearing my throat awkwardly after I spoke, 'cuz I even scared myself with how aggressive that ended up sounding.

Sapnap, clearly pissed off from my tone, didn't say anything in response. He simply walked out of my room, making sure to slam my door on the way out, and jogged downstairs.

I sighed, saving the edits I had already done on my video and shutting my computer down. I took my phone out of my pocket, pressing down the power button and shutting it off completely.
