You looked down at your chosen outfit. Your dad had, so graciously, agreed to let you out tonight. This was Eddie's first, and only, chance.

"Okay, he said he'd be by at 7:30, so that means you can't open the door when he comes." You look at your dad, who's sitting at the armchair and piecing a puzzle together with Millie.

"I won't open the door, but I do want to know what he has planned." You dad takes a brief glance at you. "Curfew, 11:00 sharp."

You sit and occupy yourself with the puzzle while you wait. It's another 20 minutes before there's a knock at the door. You're quick to stand but your dad sets you back on the sofa.

"Dad!" You rush behind him but he's already opened the door.

"Hello, sir." Eddie greets your dad and you catch a glimpse of his clothes. You grin and push your way in front of your dad.

"Hello, Eddie." You greet him and watch his shoulders tense. 'Scarier than my dad then?'

Eddie gives you a wave and you step out the door, "I'll be back soon, bye!" You call out into the house and hear a chorus of goodbye from the other three.

Your dad has his hand on the door and settles the both of you with a look.

"Curfew, don't be late."

"See you later." You smile when he closes the door and Eddie leads you to his 'Chariot'.

"So what's first?"

You smiled over at Eddie as he bounced along to the song on the stereos. You had no idea what song it was and would have to remember to get the name later.

You both had just gotten out of a movie you weren't particularly interested in, but Eddie seemed to like it.

You would've done whatever if Eddie liked it.

"So," you looked up at Eddie as the song finished and he settled down beside you, "you wanna get some grub?"

He laughed, "Yeah, we can, uh, we can go in a bit."

In truth, the outing felt awkward, like neither of you really knew what to do and you hadn't.

All you knew was that you liked hanging with Eddie, and hopefully he liked hanging with you.

Maybe this go farther than just a date.

This is really short but I've been having a little writers block so...
