The sun was high up in the blue skies as it was decorated by clouds of all shapes and sizes. The birds sang their tune as they flapped their wings freely into the air towards the tall trees. The sounds of rustling can be heard from the bushes below as a few squirrels run out from them, seemingly running away from something. Soon the sounds of giggles and the patter of small feet can be heard as two young boys pop their heads out of the bush as they glance around before they run out and continue their gleeful laughter. A blonde boy led as the other boy with viridian hair happily followed.

These two young boys are Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya.

They have both known each other since they were in their diapers because their mothers have been best friends for a long time, and naturally that would lead them to be each other's best friends since they would meet each other on a regular basis with their mothers. Izuku was a strong boy who was stubborn and hot-headed, and Katsuki was the total opposite; kind, sweet, and shy. Most would think that they wouldn't get along well because of the fact that they had such contrasting personalities, but you could say that opposites attract if you consider the two's friendship.

"Kacchan, I think we're getting a bit too far." Izuku said worriedly, not wanting to stray too far out in the woods in fear of getting lost. Mom and Auntie said to not get too far or we'd get lost. The boy added in a slightly timid voice as he tried to catch up to his friends, who were a few steps in front of him.

"Ehh, don't be such a scaredy cat," Katsuki told him with a slightly grumpy expression as he continued to walk at his pace. "We're not that far out." Now come on! " Katsuki then started to walk much faster until it turned to full-on running.

It has always been like this. How Katsuki would break and surpass rules and how Izuku tries his best to rationalize with his stubborn friend about the do's and do not's. In the end, Katsuki would end up doing things he shouldn't while Izuku would try his best to calm him down to the best of his abilities.

Izuku sighed as he begrudgingly chased after his stubborn and adventurous friend deeper into the woods, much deeper than they should have. By the time that Izuku had finally caught up to Katsuki, he was panting heavily as he wiped down the sweat coming down from his forehead. He started to hear small explosions in front of him as he looked up to see Katsuki using his quirk on a giant boulder repeatedly. Izuku could see the gleam in Katsuki's eyes and his wide and kind of concerning grin as he continuously used his explosions over and over again as the boulder slowly started to crack.

Izuku sighed, not because he was sighing out of jealousy (well maybe slightly), but for the fact that his friend had a cool quirk, but because his quirk hadn't manifested yet. Kids around the age of four years old would start to manifest their quirks, and sadly for him, his hasn't yet. It is sad when he starts to think about it, but he would always think positively and say to himself that he's just a late bloomer. Yeah, just a late bloomer.

His thoughts were quickly interrupted when he heard a booming explosion in front of him and looked up to see what it was: the boulder, which had once been whole, had been reduced to a pile of rocks and rubble. He looked further to see Katsuki's triumphant smirk and fiery red orbs, as smoke can be seen emitting from his palms. The boy started to jump excitedly, shouting praises to himself. typical Katsuki.

"Did you see that Izuku?" The boy said, turning to his friend. "I destroyed that boulder with my explosions!" 'Katsuki then ended with a booming laughter as Izuku forced a smile.

"Y-yeah, great, congrats." Izuku said in a low and slightly annoyed voice, since he had seen it more than enough times. Katsuki has been using his quirk to explode everything he sees since he manifested it, despite Izuku's best efforts to stop him.He had honestly given up at this point and just let the blonde go on a rampage.
