Izuku's POV:

The long-awaited day has finally come as Kacchan, Mei, and I enter the most prestigious hero school in all of Japan, U.A. The school we dreamt of attending since we were kids to become heroes and future successful inventors is now right here in front of us.

I became a blubbering mess of tears when I received my acceptance letter to U.A. in front of everyone, including the Bakugo and Hatsume families. I couldn't help but feel relieved that the doubts in my head about me being rejected were just all in my head! And the fact that Yaomomo would jeopardize her spot in U.A. to ensure I got it made me cry even more. My mom let out a few tears of my own as she hugged me tightly while telling me how proud she was of me.

After my mom and I were all emotional, all our parents decided to celebrate and went to the kitchen to cook us dinner. I exchanged a few hugs of congratulation with Kacchan and Mei as we decided to read our letters. Kacchan and I soon learned that we needed to give U.A. a design for our hero costumes that we would need during heroics class. Mei's eyes started gleaming as she wanted to create our costumes herself. Kacchan disagreed, shouting at the girl that he wanted to develop his design as the other yelled back, insisting that she does it herself.

I hushed them both up before going to my room and grabbing a few of my art supplies and sheets of paper. I sat down in between them as I started to tell them that we would all design our hero costumes at the same time. They begrudgingly agreed to my idea as I began to draw a figure first.

Kacchan told me what he wanted his costume to look like as it had an army theme. His costume pallet had mostly black, orange, and green colors while having a mask resembling that of an explosion with a headpiece to go along with it. Mei then suggested a hero support equipment gauntlet that resembled grenades attached to both his arms. Their use was, as Mei explained, for some excess sweat to build up into the grenade gauntlet and let out a massive explosion when he released the safety pin. Kacchan liked her idea and told me to draw those gauntlet grenades as I did so. Mei promised that she'd make them herself, as Kacchan hummed, a sign of approval.

I started to design my hero costume. I wanted a hero costume that wasn't bulky like Kacchan since I shine more in battle with my speed and flexibility, using my opponent's power against them. I went for a more straightforward style as my color pallet was black, purple, violet, and a few hints of gold for minor details. It had a mysterious vibe to it that I adored. I even placed a diamond star near my chest as an added little detail.

After we had designed our costumes, our parents called for us to the dining table to eat dinner. We all ate the food they prepared that was all so delicious, congratulating us once more for our success in getting admitted into U.A.

Now, here we are, our first day of school at U.A. We stood in front of the gates as we headed into the campus and the massive building in front of us. All Might messaged me the day before and apologized for not seeing us after receiving our acceptance letters. He told me he was swamped with paperwork from his agency and from U.A. He promised we'll meet again when our first day in U.A. ended since he wanted to talk about something with us.

Once we made our way inside, Mei split with us since she was attending the support course. I waved her goodbye while Kacchan only nudged his head upwards. We continued to make our way to our class, more like find it since the place was huge!

"How are we going to find our class in this big place is!" I whined as I heard Kacchan groaning from my side, clearly annoyed with my whining.

"Oh, will you just shut up?!" Kacchan yelled to me while hitting my head with his fists playfully; of course, he wasn't planning to hurt me since he loves me too much! "Our class is right there, for fucksake!" Kacchan pointed as I started to brighten up.
