Izuku POV:
We were all back in our classroom after that whole ordeal. Those people from the media don't know anything about boundaries, and they'll do anything to get the latest scoop, especially if that scoop relates to All Might, the symbol of peace. I'm glad that none of my friends got hurt during that time, but some acquired some bruises, which are not considered life-threatening now.
But most of them made me a bit flustered as they showered me with unnecessary compliments and praises. Even Kacchan gave me a nod of acknowledgment, which rarely happens or doesn't even really happen! I tried waving them off as nothing, but they wouldn't stop until I just gave up. But one thing they said that made me admit that I did something honorable today was that they told me that I fit my role as class representative and led all those students to calm down and exit the cafeteria safely. I guess I did a fantastic job now, did I?
We sat around for a bit, noticing how Aizawa-sensei was not here yet, even though it's already been past five minutes since class should've started. How odd it was for him to be late since he's the type of person that would most likely be on time or the one who's always early. Maybe he's discussing with the other teachers about that whole incident earlier; well, maybe?
"Looks like Aizawa-sensei is still not here yet, even though it's already time for our heroics class," Mina said in her seat.
"Relax, raccoon eyes." Kacchan rudely called her as the girl pouted her cheeks before sticking her tongue out at him. Kacchan started to make his growling face as he glared daggers at her.
"Calm down, everyone," I said with an awkward-sounding voice, followed by a much more awkward chuckle. "I bet that he's just taking care of the press. He was the one outside along with Present Mic, so maybe they're still handling it." I reasoned, earning a few nods and murmurs as the class settled down.
A few minutes later, Aizawa-sensei walks into class looking more tired than usual. Guess those press really drained the remaining energy of this man.
"Sorry I'm late; teachers were called in for a quick meeting." He explained before yawning, "Anyways, since we wasted a bit of our time, I'll be proceeding to explain what we will be doing today." He then pulled out a card from his pocket and showed all of us. "We will be doing rescue training exercises." He announced as the whole class erupted in excitement.
I bet I'll do great in rescue since I can transport injured people with my quirk and quickly bring them to safety. Plus, cleaning up would be a breeze if there were a disaster since I can also use my quirk!
"Anything from disasters to shipwrecks, you all will be learning how to handle these situations," Aizawa-sensei said as he took out a remote and pressed its button to reveal the cases for our hero costumes. "You may choose to wear or not your hero costume since some might limit your movement. But I suggest you do so for you to get used to your costumes. We will be leaving in fifteen minutes since the location is quite far and we'll leave by bus. Now get to it." Aizawa-sensei finished as we all took our cases to change into our costumes.
We soon gathered outside in our costumes while waiting for the bus to arrive. Thankfully, my costume didn't end up as badly as I thought it would after my battle with Kacchan. It got a bit burnt from all of his explosion attacks, but Mei was able to repair it for me in a day. I guess she prioritized my damaged costume above her inventions which I was grateful for.
"Wow, Midoriya, you look cool in your hero costume!" Uraraka complimented me as she approached me.
"Thanks, Uraraka, but I think you look way cooler," I said back to her as she smiled widely as I looked in front to see that the bus had arrived. "Oh, the bus is here; I guess it's time for us to go now."
