They both got down the stairs and Manik saw a guard approach them..

"Sir, there's some Mr. Khurrana who wants to meet you", he said and they both looked at each other dumbfolded..

"How dare he come here again", Manik said gritting his teeth and moved towards the gate while her emphasis was on the word 'again', he had showed up before too, why didn't he tell her this? For the time being she followed Manik to the entrance..

"What the fuck do you think of yourself, didn't I tell you not come near us", he yelled..

"Manik, just once listen to me please,
Nandini please", he said shifting his gaze to her..

"Don't you dare even take her name off your filthy mouth", he warned..

"Just throw him out", he commanded the guards..

"Manik, let's listen what he has to say", she said coming towards him and he looked at her confused..

"He cannot do any harm to us now Manik, let's listen once, what he has got to say", she said and he sighed nodding..

"You just have 5 minutes", he said to Mr. Khurrana..

"I came here to apologise to you, thank you you're here too Nandini, I wanted to apologise to both of you", he said and Manik rolled his eyes..

"When I was released from jail, I went to see Soha in the asylum but I found out that she died just in a few days after she was brought there. Her madness grew more and whenever she looked at her face she used get angry and harm herself and one day she jumped off the roof while running away from that place", he said and they both stood silent..

"I'll be spending my entire life in this guilt, only if I would've got her treated, she would've been alive and you both wouldn't have faced so much, I'm really happy seeing you both together, it reduces my guilt", he concluded with a sad smile..

"It's ok Mr. Khurrana, I really don't wanna drag or remember the past, forgiving and moving is all I want", Nandini said and he smiled mouthing a thank you and left the place..

Manik sighed and walked towards her who was lost in her thoughts..

"Nandini", Manik called and she looked up..

"Ha", she replied coming out of her thoughts..

"You ok?", He asked putting his hands around her shoulders to comfort her..

"Hmm, Manik if Mr. Khurrana is out of jail then Nyonika would be too, what if she again tries to.."

"She won't", he said interrupting her and she frowned..

"After getting realised she went to dad but dad had no sympathy for her, he shoved her out and then the only option she had was me, no one was ready to believe her but me being a good son didn't disown her", he said smirking..

"Then what did you do?", Nandini asked..

"I sent her to an old age home", he said and her eyes widened..

"Yes and I pay them extra to take special care of her, I told them she mentally a bit sick and they were all sympathetic", he said chuckling remembering Nyonika's face at that moment..

"And she accepted?", she asked..

"She didn't have a choice", he replied..

"Let's go you'll get late", he said and they both reached his car..

"Text me when you reach", he said placing a kiss on forehead and she sat inside the car..

While moving her mind revolved around what happened a while ago but she shrugged the thoughts thinking everything is fine now..
