16 (Spending time)

Note: I'm not updating my other stories as I wanna finish this one first, it messes up my mind to write 2-3 stories together. So whoever are asking me to update unexpected (after talent hunt) plz wait a little...

Manik came back after dropping her and he was just bored of the fact that he had nothing to do until she come. She didn't even let me come out of the car and bid her bye properly due to the previous rumours.

He scrolled his phone for a while but closed it finding nothing interesting he kept it aside and started roaming in her empty house. The house was small and didn't have much things too, he opened the fridge and found the food which she cooked for him, he didn't feel like eating it. Also he had to warm it first and he didn't feel like doing anything right..

Though he didn't want but lying on the bed he slept in minutes without realising..

He woke up after a few hours and saw the time, it was still time left for her college's dismissal..

He was hungry but didn't like eating the homemade food it was cold and longmade. He ordered some food, which fast food as always..

He took his car keys was about to leave but she entered the same moment unlocking the door..

"Tum aa gayi!", He exclaimed pouting sadly..

"Haa",she said getting in..

"I was coming to take you", he said cribbing and going behind her..

"Koi nhi na Manik, you're staying for days na, come to take me some other day", she taking away her things..

"Ok", he said looking down..

"Manik you're too cute", she pulled his cheeks and he made a bad face...

"So what did you all day cutie", She asked..

"I came back and then slept and when I woke, it was evening already I was hungry so.."

"So..?"

"So I ordered food", he said showing his teeth and she made a 'expected' face..

"What did you order?", She asked and he showed her the pizza boxes..

"Manik you could've ordered something else na"

"Choro na it's just a matter of one day, I have this for you, frenhenup and have it", he said and she nodded..

"Thank god you didn't kill me", he said sighing in relief dramatically..

"But Nandini the food which you prepared it'd be wasted na", he said confused and a little guilty..

"Don't worry Manik, I'll give it to the street dogs", she said and he nodded..

She freshenup and had her food and they started talking about her day in college and suddenly the light suddenly went off and she held his hand..

Wait I'll get my phone", he said getting up and took his phone from the shelf..

She gulped sitting back the place was all dark not a bit of light and the next moment she remembered something..

Manik came back switching on the flash light and sat beside her, she smiled and kept her head on his shoulder..

"Manik tum theek ho na, this darkness...are you ok?", She asked..

"I'm ok, I have my star beside me", he said smiling..

She smiled back and entwined his hands with hers..

She moved her hands fast and fanned herself as it was too hot..
