"Charlotte, get your ass out of bed! We have to go get Robin, plus we're already late!" Steve's voice snapped Charlie out of her sleep, causing her to jolt up quickly and rub her eyes. Though, when Steve's voice started ushering her, Charlotte hopped out of bed and started getting ready for the day, picking random clothes from the pit in which she called her floor. Charlie didn't care much for cleaning her room anymore, hardly anyone came over, her mother was never home to tell her to clean it, and her father was too busy getting drunk to notice. "Charlotte Rosanna Harrington! Let's go!" Steve dragged out, assuring that Charlie would hurry herself up, leaving her to listen to the front door slam as he walked out. On her way out, she grabbed the bottle of mouthwash in replacement for brushing her teeth due to the fact Steve left her with no time.

With her backpack, mouthwash, headphones, and cassette player in hand, she finally left the house through the front door and assured that she locked it behind herself, walking to Steve's car. Waking up late happened around three times a week, and it was getting tiring for Steve. He graduated- he was supposed to be living his life, not driving his sister and best friend to school. But anyways, regardless if they woke up late or not, they always drove Robin to school due to the fact that she never got her license. Though, on this specific morning, they were obviously running late which left Charlie to do her makeup which already sat on the backseat of the car in which she shared with the multiple disregarded things they threw back there.

The alarm blaring and interrupting the silence, Angie finally woke up for the morning. She stretched her arms above her head and hopped out of bed, walking toward her closet. Angie rubbed her eyes tiredly, picking out a tight-fitted, white, t-shirt and a pair of jeans to go along with it, she began changing.

And when she finally had the outfit on, she looked at herself in the mirror and rolled her eyes at her fake appearance. Angie, in reality, just tried to fit in with the people in her grade, and if this was the way to do so, she was going to do it. Despite the fact that she really wanted to dress in the average jean jacket, mom jeans, and maybe even her own hellfire t-shirt, she was stuck with what she had, so she managed. Running to the bathroom and putting on the light layer of makeup, she began walking out the door alongside her backpack. She unlocked her car door and hopped in, beginning to make her way to school.

Arriving outside of the crowded school parking lot, Steve finally found a place to park and hopped out of the car. With that, both Robin and Charlie also got out and began walking toward the school, leaving Steve behind them, sighing in annoyance. "So, Robin-" Charlie attempted to begin, though, was cut off when the school counselor began walking toward her. "I'll be right back. Good luck in band." She stated absentmindedly, trying to speed up when Ms. Kelly called for her.

"Charlie! Hi, hun. I want you to come see me, 3rd period. Alright?" Ms. Kelly said, not bothering to care about the other voices that could hear the conversation, which in all honesty, embarrassed Charlie even further. But when she avoided Ms. Kelly and left her without an answer, she entered the school gym and found her way toward Dustin, Mike, and Max, who were standing in the bleachers.
