-----------"I got it, I'll just be a sec." Charlie stated, climbing out of the crowded backseat of Steve's car. They were currently outside of the gas station in the middle of town, getting food and essentials for both Angie and Eddie. Charlie knew that she could handle picking a few things off the shelf by herself, so when she entered the front door, she entered alone.
Grabbing a box of cereal off the shelf, she suddenly felt a presence behind her, causing her body to tense up. Though, without turning around, she threw the cereal box into the cart and tried to get away but was shoved against the shelf and turned around by rough hands. And when she finally looked up and realized who it was, her eyes widened.
It was Nathan.
"Hmph." He exhaled, looking Charlie up and down. Nathan struggled to keep the teenager down, though, he knew that he was much stronger and continued overpowering her shaking and trembling frame. "Hargrove isn't here to protect you anymore, is he?" Nathan asked, breathing heavily as he enclosed himself farther into Charlie. She turned her head away from him, trying to avoid looking at him at all costs.
Though, when he was shoved off of her and was suddenly on the floor, being beaten into a pulp by no other than her brother, she finally exhaled the breath she didn't know that she was even holding. Leaving Nathan beaten and bloodied, Steve leaned back, still straddling him, he mumbled something. "Yeah, well, she has me." Standing up and grabbing hold of both Charlie and the cart, Steve walked toward the front of the store. He didn't say anything to his younger sister, figuring that he would talk to her later. It wasn't the conversation that they needed to have in the middle of the gas station.
Throwing a twenty down onto the register area, Steve grabbed hold of the bags and his sister's upper-arm once again, walking out, disregarding the change that he should have been receiving from the cashier. Shoving the bags into Charlie's arms, she looked down, ashamed as she climbed back into the car, Steve almost immediately speeding off and toward Reefer Rick's warehouse once again.

-----------Although Eddie hardly closed his eyes that night, Angie actually got a little bit of sleep. Despite the waking up from the horrifying nightmares and flashbacks of what happened, she still managed to get comfortable in the boat and dozed off.
But the loud bang of the door opening suddenly awoke her snoring frame, causing her to shoot up and hold up a shard of glass that she held close throughout the night. Within the chance that somebody could come in, she knew she needed a weapon, and the shard of glass was the closest thing available other than Eddie's broken beer bottle.
And when Charlie and her gang walked in, the youngest Harrington's arms went up and signaled that they brought food. "Delivery service." She smiled widely as Eddie exhaled a terrified breath, lowering the shattered glass that was in his hand. They all flooded in, giving Eddie and Angie soft smiles.
Immediately grabbing hold of the bags in Charlie's hands, Eddie brought them over to the boat and sat himself next to Angie. He grabbed out the box of cereal that Charlie went through hell to get to, shoving his hand into it almost immediately. Angie, on the other hand, was eating a bag of chips hurriedly due to it being their first meal in a hot minute.
