Tiffany POV
Three years later
"Kyren could you please sit down for mommy just for a little bit until I'm finished." I looked down at him with begging eyes.
"But mommy I want to play." He spoke in his cute little voice that he knew would get me all the time but I just couldn't this time, I had a graduation to attend. My graduation at that.
I sat the curlers down going to pick him up. I can't believe this woman wanted me to pay her to watch him but yet she was no where to be found. What type of babysitting was she doing.
I finally found her in the kitchen.
"Mom, I thought you said you was going to watch him."
She looked up from the magazine that she was reading like she was caught stealing or something.
While she gave me the 'that ain't my child' look I sure enough was giving her back the 'yeah that's true but I'm paying you' look.
She rolled her eyes and took Kyren out my arms.
"Come on grandma baby. Mommy mistreating you ain't she?"
And just like something his grandmother would do he shook his head yes and stick his tongue out at me.
"Kyren you better stop." I gave him a look of warning.
He folded his arms together and pouted.
"Aye don't be looking at mommy like that." My mom said tapping his butt softly.
I sighed going back to do my hair.
About ten minutes later I heard a few pair of heels walking up the stairs. I turned around waiting to see who they were and when they appeared in my doorway I jumped up screaming.
"Oh my god, you guys made it."
I ran over to hug Kwan and Brooke.
The time when I went back home for summer break I had introduce Brooke and Kwan to each other. I thought for some reason that they weren't going to like each other because of how much they are alike but surprisingly they did. It took them time to figure each other out but eventually that passed. I was just glad they didn't fight.
"Come on now boo. Would I ever do that to my best friend." Brooke gave me a hug first handing me a card with flowers.
"Yeah and you know I was coming. I came to embarrass my friend for when she walk on that stage." She paused. "Plus somebody else wanted to come so I had to make it."
She reached behind her and grabbed the little hand that was hiding behind her and pulled him out.
I instantly smiled and reached out for him.
"Hey baby boy. How are you." I bent down to his level.
"I'm good miss. Congrats on your gwaduation." He said with his finger in his mouth.
"Aww thank you so much."
"You're welcome ma'am." If there's one thing that I had to say that Kwan taught him very well was his manners yet while mine had trouble sitting down.
Before I got to respond Kyren came out of nowhere interrupting me.
"Ugh you're such a wimp." He rolled his eyes.
"Hey, stop." I gave him a look while Kwan was looking at him like he had two heads.
"Um excuse me but I know you ain't talking to my baby like that. No no." She sat her purse down getting ready to put her hair in a ponytail.
