"you're insufferable!" ningguang cussed out at the guards and to her employees in pure rage.

"how can Rex lapis be easily assassinated?! Investigate this thoroughly! I cannot be at ease!" the ceo of liyue corporation spat, how can the founding creator of liyue corp. Be this easily killed? Wasn't the building heavily guarded especially his office?

" M-ms. Ningguang please calm your anger.. We will try our best to find the one who might have set this up" ningguang's secretary, ganyu softly reassured the hot headed lady.

Keqing on the other side was at lost for words, morax wasn't stupid enough to get himself killed, least he would be wounded, but getting his head sent flying was the last thing she'd think of.

"Xiao.." Keqing mumbled, Xiao! That guy has always been sticking with the liyue Corp. Owner! She would've thought he was Rex lapis' secretary if not Xiao mentioning he did not have any title and didn't want to have one as long as he was by his (morax) side.

"ms. Ningguang? May I speak?" keqing mumbled softly to not seem disrespectful towards the ceo.

"speak, my dear assistant." Ningguang sighed, clearly stressed and is slowly loosing hope.

"I can't guarantee that this may be true, but I did heared 'Xiao' brought a boy last night to Mr. Morax.." keqing replied, ganyu was a little hesitant but it did ring a bell to her.

Ningguang raised a brow signaling for the woman to continue.

"it was a blond man, a little taller than him, and is now being investigated by the police." continued by keqing.

The three ladies contemplated before ningguang stepped in dialing a number in her phone.

"keep an eye on him." mumbled the lady.

Aether's POV.

"where are you taking me anyway." aether spoke out of spite, and the person infront only chuckled in response once again.

"stop laughing! Is this a laughing situation to you?! I wasn't even the culprit. As a detective I demand to talk to your chief!"

"ahh~ so scary I might just stop the car and let you go~ hahaha but that won't really happen" the person finally replied teasingly.

"you should be scared if I can actually kill you like how you accuse me of killing someone." aether scoffed,

Childe stopped laughing,

"you know comrade, I like you. maybe I should ask you out sometimes, like a date?" the ginger chuckled.

aether gasped and before he could speak the back door slammed open revealing a person heavily covered in black with a... Kamisato crest?!

"wait a minute.. That logo.. Are you__-"

"hmp!"

"ow!"

"quit pushing!, what the hell?!"

"hey hey hey! Ow Ow Goddamit!"

'THUNK!'

aether was pushed and hit his head on the metal window.

"I think you might have overdid that scara-"

"shut up. He was being annoying and were literally jail breaking at this point so get your ass driving before we get into more trouble."

"so stingy.. I was actually having fun with him"

"remember your mission, you shouldn't be too friendly with him." scaramouche sighed before putting duck tape on aether whose once again laying unconscious.

Tartaglia started the engine again before driving in the speed of light.

Third person POV

"gorou? General gorou?" a soldier called out a little panicked but was able to hold his heel.

"hm? Yes? Is there something wrong?" gorou spoke as he put the phone on hold that he was speaking to earlier.

The soldier quietly walked to whisper the problem to the general, gorou quickly listened whilst heart pounding.

"uh huh.. What.. WHAT?!" gorou yelled as the soldier begged the general to keep his temper down.

Gorou ended the call as he hurriedly went to grab his walkie talkie on the coffee table.

"don't let them get away!" gorou yelled, distressed that this was the first time someone actually tried to escape with a murderer.

The soldier was trembling in his feet and before he knew it his feet was now above the ground as the general gripped his collar.

"how the hell did this happen?! Weren't there any police inside that car?!" gorou reasoned. There was. But they were now 6 ft on the ground after getting beat up by a small wimp.

Aka. Scaramouche.

"general gorou! Please quell your anger!" the soldier cried out of fear.

"then better start answering my question." gorou spoke with authority.

"general gorou."

Kokomi hummed while two police officers guided the calm lady.

"colonel Kokomi." gorou was brought back to his calm self and bowed to a 90°.

"no need to take your anger on your poor subordinates. The matter is being handled by the marines." replied by the colonel lady.

Gorou apologized as the general questioned kokomi.

"but colonel, I was given an information that the kamisato estate was behind this."

"kamisato estate? What nonsense, they are our largest and strongest ally and I wouldn't dare say something so outrageous." the colonel replied, as the general hummed.

"I wouldn't dare, although someone might have used them to get blamed instead, is what I know." - general Gorou.

"I did receive a call from the liyue Corp concerning about the founding ceo that has been recently killed. But after seeing the culprit it was highly a set up because the person was a fresh detective graduate, he didn't seem to have anything against Mr. Zhongli and that man always seems to be morally righteous." - colonel kokomi.

"understood," general Gorou responded with acknowledgment.

"but colonel,"

"have you heared of the balladeer?."

Childe's POV.

"Good God, this traffic is killing me! How come when I watch jailbreak movies there was never a traffic?!" there was he just forgot.

"quit being a pussy, this is literally the least you can do." scaramouche responded from the back while aether was sleeping peacefully after getting his head hit from several angles. Seriously how did this end up so bad.

"yeah yeah, it's not like you were useful either, don't act like you did so much when your just all talk." childe barked back before the car came to a hard halt.

"Agh! Hey! Can't you be more careful?! This isn't even your car!"

"you son of a bitch! You said the police weren't going to come after us!" - childe

"what?" scaramouche raised his brow, hurriedly looking outside.

"Get out of the car! And no one get's hurt."
