I opened my eyes again, I forgot I closed them. There was a glass of water infront of me.
"I thought you could need that", Salinda said and pointed at the glass.

How long did I sleep? Did I really fell asleep at the table while sitting on the chair? I really had to be exhausted.

I took a deep breath, sipped at the water and looked around. All were still working busily. This will take longer. I needed a break and get out of here for a while. I stood up and let the others know I will get some fresh air and a coffee. They agreed and Jason took a worried look at me.

After I left the room I walked through the hallways till I saw a coffee automat. I got myself a cappoccino and viewed the room where the automat stood in. There were white tables, black comfortable chairs, another automat with drinks and windows on the walls. No other people. It was quiet. Just in my head was chaos. Lots of sorrow and worry.

I sighed and drank at my hot coffee. Then I left the room, searching for an exit to get some fresh air. I found a backdoor which leaded into a little garden. There were some yellow and light blue flowers which grew next to some green bushes. I smiled at them. They were pretty. I looked up at the sky. Blue with white and gray clouds. No sun in sight. I glared at the flowers again till I heard a noice behind me.

Was that Ric? Was he after me? Here and now? So near by the police station? Please don't let it be Ric.
"Hey...", a familiar voice said. I turned around and looked at a concernd face. I sighed in relief. It was not Ric.
It was Officer Fabian. I actually had hoped for Jason but it wasn't him.
"... Are you okay?", Fabian asked.
"Yeah, I'm just... Worried", I replied and held my cup of coffee a little tighter.
"Yeah, we all are...", he said and looked into the sky.

Really? We all are? Why did they worry too? Ric was after me, not them, right?, I thought.

I took another sip at my cappuccino and glanced at the sky with Fabian. He sighed and turned to me again.
"Let me know if you need anything", he went and got back inside after I nodded.

A while passed and I head through the door again too. I returned to the room with Salinda, Agent Carter and Jason. When I entered Officer Fabian was not there yet but Jason looked away from the screen to view me. He still seemed worried.
"Fabian will be right back, he said, he would get himself a sandwich", Salinda explained.
Luckily I waßn't hungry but maybe I would just eat something out of boredom and concern. Just to do something because I felt so useless.

I sat near Salinda again and she filled me in on what she found out. It wasn't much but she digged out some more info about Ric's clubbing and party hobby. He really seemed to be having fun drinking and talking regularly nearly every day. That way he met the most people, could scare them and seek for new victims. I wasn't the first one, of course not. The first ageshifter maybe but not the first he was after.

Anyway, Ric was in many different clubs but sometimes he visited the same ones over and over again. The one club which seemed to be his favorite, acording to the instagram posts we found, wasn't that special from the others. He went there every now and then but it was the same with the other clubs too. What made that one so special to him? Maybe the location was near to where he lived? Maybe we could really find out where his apartment was? If he even had more than one. A man like Ric, powerful and dangerous, will probably have a lot of money and also more than one home.

I sighed. Salinda sat next to be and showed my her laptop screen. She had opened a map with all the popular clubs and party locations marked. His favorite was in the center. Then she showed me a few apartments which could fit Ric's expections. She thought, he would have a big modern flat, with glass walls, black stone and a balcony. No garden.

Were we really about to find where he lived? Where he currently was maybe? Was this really our goal now? To surprise him at home? That could actually be a better plan but we had to be sure that he was really there and nowhere else. If we broke into his home without him being there, we could ruin things and he could never come back. Not that he would actually run or hide from us. He would rather wait to attack but I didn't really think he would be after me when I was still at the police station. Not that he would be scared to get caught. I was pretty sure he thought, he was so good and strong he could never get caught. That no one and nothing could hurt him. But there he was wrong.
