Ch.13

Kaya:
I am in English class. And of course, another seatwork. I roll my eyes and start my work. Don't get me wrong. I think education is okay for us . It's just that it could get stressing . But that's what life is here for.

As I am writing , I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn to see the new girl. She just arrived yesterday but I never got the chance to say hi. She was so quiet.

"Can I borrow a pencil?" She asks me with a grin.

I nod and take out my mini pencil case. I am glad I came prepared.

I lend her one pencil.

"Thanks," she says grabbing the pencil. "Hey I never got to introduce myself . I'm Lexi." she says holding out her hand . We shook hands.

"I'm Kaya," I say with a smile.

"You seem reall-" she was cut off by the teacher.

"Lexi and Kaya please keep it down. eyes on your work."

"Sorry," we both say in sync as we silently giggle.

We then get back to work.

It was finally time for our lunch break.
Lexi and I walked out together. We got to know each other a lot.

"Oh. Here's your pencil," Lexi says handing it back to me.

I was about to take it when we suddenly bumped into a familiar person. Natalie and a girl?

"Oh sorry, Ky," Nat says with worry.

I chuckled "It's fine,"

"New friend?" We both asked in sync referring to Lexi and the girl Nat was with.

"Yep," I said . "This is Lexi," I say as they both exchange smiles and shake hands.

"Nice to meet you Lexi," Nat says.
"This is Nala," she says referring to the girl next to her.

We waved to each other.

Lexi and Nala got along well. They started walking together while Nat and I led them to our bench.

We introduced them to everyone and see there was another new friend as well.

Ivory:
"Where we going?" Anna asked as I led her to the bench. It was finally lunch and I was starving.

I met Anna back in science when we were partnered up for a lab experiment.
She was so cool and nice. We did have some complications with the assignment but nonetheless, it was fun.

I decided that everyone else had to meet her. 'The more the merrier'

We finally arrived and sat with the others. I introduced her to the others and they were all happy to see each other. I just wonder where are Kaya and Nat?

They were there in less than 2 seconds but with unfamiliar people as well.

"Hey guys, this is Lexi and Nala," Kaya says pointing to the two girls with them.
We all shook hands and hugged especially Mia. She loves hugs.

"Nice to meet you," I say smiling "This is Anna," I say as she smiles and shakes their hands and pulls them into hugs.

Turns out Anna and Mia both like hugs now.

"Alright I'm starving," Jen says taking her food out. We all start taking our food out as well.

Natalie:
Well, this morning better be good. Many other lessons to learn.

I have arrived to school and was now walking to class. Luckily, I was just in time as the bell started ringing.

I notice people start heading inside the classroom and start walking swiftly .
