Ch. 8

*1 year later*

Nikki's POV:

*home; 7pm*

Im just in my room. I turn up the earphones and make sure the volume is as loud as it can be. I can't believe it.. I have to move?.. I dont understand... How will I break the news to my friends? What do I do?.. I better tell them.. soon.. I just dont know how.. I need to do it soon.. Im leaving tomorrow night..

*1 day later*

Today will be a mixture of many emotions for me.. I mean.. Im glad and sad at the same time. Im glad because I will be with my whole family.. and its been a long time since we all got together.. and Im sad because I wont be able to see my friends...We all have problems in our lives.. We all have doubts, thoughts, memories (whether they be good or bad) , we experience everything (whether they be literally or just our imagination) .. Our imagination is the most powerful thing in the world.

Today I plan to bring Jenny and Natalie with me to the carnival.. my aunt's treat.. I have to break the news to them.. soon.. Ill just call them.

Natalie's POV:

Im so bored.. What to do?

*rrrriiiiinnngggg,rrrrriiiinnngg* my telephone suddenly rings.

I might as well pick up

*Telephone Convo:

"Hello?," I ask.

"Hey Nat, Its Nikki,"

"Oh, hey, what's up?"

"I have great news and bad news,"

"Oh, ok, well whats the good news?"

"Good news is that, you,Jen, and I will be going to the carnival today,"

"Really? Wow cool, Wait sorry but Im broke."

"Dont worry, haha, its my aunt's treat,"

"Aww , thanks,.. and the bad news?"

"Umm. Yeaa.. Ill tell you later on tonight.. Umm...be ready by 3:00 this afternoon.. goodbye.."

*dial tone*

That was strange... What was all that about? I wonder what the news is? Whatever. I wont stress myself about it. Ill just be patient until she decides to say it later on.

*2:30*

Its almost 3 and Im all ready. What should I do for the meantime while im waiting? .. I think I should call Jen and see if she is ready.

I dial her number. The phone rings 8 times,then she finally picks up.

*Phone Convo with Jen*

"Hello," she says.

"Hey Jen, you ready ?"

"For the carnival? Yea,"

"Did Nikki mention any "bad news" to you?"

"Yea.. She mentioned it, but she didnt tell me what it was.. I guess we will have to find out later on,"

"Do you think it's anything "really" bad?"

"Well. Depends on what you mean by "really"..."

"I mean like "really", as in where it could do something to our friendship.."

"No.. I dont think so.. our friendship is strong.. nothing can tear us apart.."

"True.. * car horn starts honking:"Nat, you ready? Let's go!"* .. ok I gotta go now . Nik's here.. I guess we will pick you up.. see you later!"
