"Right, so all of these are partner games meaning we are at no disadvantage whatsoever."

I nodded, "Right, but we need to work harder than the others to keep my lack of sight from being a disadvantage."

"Stop beating yourself down like that."

"I- I'm not beating myself down Wilbur! It's true! We will be at a disadvantage because one person lacks sight!"

"But we can work around it."

I sighed still wondering why Wibur picked me.

"What are the games?"

"Let's see," I heard paper rustling. "Minefield, which requires one person to be blindfolded." More paper,"Obstacle course, we have identical obstacle courses, and have to complete them at the same time." At this point it might as well be a notebook. "Relay race, we'll have to work on that. Three legged race, that’s not a problem"

Wilbur really wrote down everything on a notebook. "Charades."

"So there will be several games that I can't do." I said flatly.

"I'm sure we can change them a bit to help you out."

"I don't want that!" I said angrily in Wilbur's general direction. "I just want to be normal! I don't want their pity, their accommodations!"

I sat down, putting my head in my hands. "I- I thought I was better. I thought I was doing better Wilbur!"

The beginning was hard, and everyone at the house babied me.

I thought I was better.

"What do you mean Ranboo?" Wilbur asked, I felt him sit next to me, his shoulder brushing mine.

"I feel like I'm back at square one, depending on everyone for everything."

"But you're not, you can walk around the house pretty much alone, and you came to the park yesterday and played games."

"But I still need reminders when going down stairs, and I got overwhelmed with just a few voices."

"I think you're belittling your accomplishments."

"And I think you're pitying me!" I shouted.

I felt Wilbur flinch.

I sighed, "I'm sorry Wilbur, I just- I can't do this."

An arm snaked around me.

"It's okay, I understand."

Anger boiled to the surface.

"You don't! You don't understand! You can't say you understand anything that has happened!" I pushed his arm off of me and stormed off.

"Ranboo wait-" I heard him walked towards me, and whirled around.

"You probably picked me out of pity too!" I said before rushing off.

My world was always black, so I had to rely on my other senses to navigate.

To say I tripped a few times would be an understatement.

But I was too mad, too mad at the world and it's endless punishment.

Hell, I already can't remember half of my life, and now I can't see.

At some point, the ground beneath my feet shifted from grass to sand.

I sat down, and raked my claws through the sand angrily. The sand just filled the marks up, and forced me to do it again.

Again and again, until my claws were full of sand, and my fingers were scraped, and burning.

I felt less sunlight on my shoulders than I had when I arrived.

I panicked, and began walking.

I stopped dead when I felt the sand coat my feet, stinging them.

Wrong way.

I stumbled backwards, and began walking the other way.

The sand slowly shifted to grass.

Then I froze.

I ran away from Wilbur.

The person who promised to keep me safe.

The person who could see.

Fear crashed over me like a tidal wave.

I was all alone.

I would never find my way home.

I sat on the ground, tears pricking my eyes.

My luck seemed to only get worse as I felt the cold burn of rain.

I got up, and stumbled about, thinking about my situation.

It's getting dark quickly, it's cold and rain burns.

Oh, and I can't see.

I settled on the fact that getting cover from the rain was my top priority.

I stumbled around, looking for a tree with a thick canopy of leaves, or something I could take cover under.

At some point, the ground beneath me shifted again.

It changed from the prickly, springy texture I knew was grass, to a cold, smooth surface under my feet.

I followed the smooth surface. It was slick with rain, and burned my feet. But the grass was no better.

Soon the surface became dry.

I put my arms up, trying to see what was over me. My hands brushed something cold and rough.

My arm made an arc, my fingers sweeping the surface. I did it again and again until I had a small area mapped out. There was that cold surface all around me, the floor was rougher than it was outside.

I reached my hand out infront of me. There was empty air infront of me.

I placed my hand on the side of wherever I was, and carefully ran my hand along it, using it as a wall.

The sound of rain faded the farther I walked, until all I heard was the drip of my clothes, and my claws on the ground.

I came to a point where if I ran my hand along one wall, it kept going, and if I ran my hand along the other wall, it curved and forced me to turn around.

I decided to stop and rest there.

I carefully searched the small area, making sure that there were no sharp edges or objects. I sat down with my knees tucked to my chest, and opened my book.

I take this book everywhere, even though I can no longer read it.

I searched for my pencil, before realizing I must have dropped it.

I felt around before my hand closed around a long object with a sharp end.

I wasn't sure if this was a pencil, but it would have to do.

Today I got into a fight with Wilbur, and ran off. Now I am sitting in cave, lost.

I sighed before putting the book back into my satchel, and falling into unconsciousness.
