Chapter VII

A/N: Im in the mood for updating lol u got a problem wiff tha?

"Chancho!" Dinah yelled in my ear which startled me and made me slap her without thinking.

"Don't fucking scare me again!" I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I put my hand on my chest like It's the only thing that will keep my heart from popping out of my chest.

"Note taken." Dinah said. When I opened my eyes, Dinah was rubbing her reddened cheek gently while Ally and Normani were laughing hysterically at the back. When the two calmed down a bit, Normani decided to talk.

"Did you pack your things?" Normani asked as she wiped a tear in her eye.

"Yeah, I did." I sighed. "I'm so sorry Dmac. You just scared the fuck out of me."

"I know." Dinah smiled smugly. "Did you piss in your pants just like last time?"

"No." I rolled my eyes. "I'm gonna go freshen up then get changed."

"Well, you better hurry up. The gang is waiting for you in the car." Ally said as I walked out of the room to go to the bathroom. I took a quick shower, got changed into a simple tshirt then brushed my teeth. After that, I entered my room again to find the girls talking quietly.

"Finally!" Dinah put her hands in the air dramatically. "It's been ten years!"

I looked at Normani who was eyeing my shirt. When she looked up, I raised an eyebrow at her.

"You really love her, do you?" Normani asked. She looks a bit worried but I don't know why.

"Who?" I said, not sure who she's reffering to.

"Lauren." Ally smiled at me sympathetically.

"Oh." I said when I realized that the T-shirt I randomly picked out was Lauren's shirt. It was a black tshirt that has the words Stay Weird written in white text.

So that's why it's comfortable, I thought, It's Lauren's shirt.

"Mila, are you okay?" Ally asked, putting a hand on my shoulder comfortingly. "You look like you're about to cry."

"Yeah, I'm okay." I lied. The truth is, I miss her. I could run 3000 miles if that's the only way to see her face. I could start right now but life doesn't work that way. Life is way too complicated for my taste.

"Let's go." I hear Dinah say and I nodded. As we were walking downstairs, I heard Normani and Ally whisper to each other. You wanna know a secret? Those two can't whisper so I heard what they're saying.

"I think it's better if we didn't mention her name when we're with Camila." Ally sighed.

"I guess you're right." Normani nodded.

   When we got out of my house, I looked around to see Ariana, Lisa, Wesley, Harry, Luke and Jake sitting on my front lawn.

"Chicken wings!" I yelled when I was behind them all.

Yes, my squad is called Chicken Wings.

They were startled but soon grinned at me, stood up then hugged me. I started calling them chicken wings  because one time, when we were in the cafeteria, the lunch lady 'accidentally'  gave Luke a moldy chicken wing. Luke threw a moldy chicken wing at Wesley as a joke but Wesley took it seriously. Wesley threw the chicken wing back at Luke but accidentally hit Lisa and the chicken wing somehow managed to slip inside her shirt. Lisa got pissed so she threw the chicken wing back at Wesley but he dodged it so she accidentally hit Ariana, who was behind Wesley. Ariana thought she stepped on a kitten at first but then she grabbed the chicken wing off of the floor to hit Lisa back, as a revenge for scaring her but she didn't aim that good so she accidentally hit Harry. Harry was laughing so the chicken wing entered his mouth. He was so grossed out because he tasted it.

Harry explained the taste as, "like someone puked in your mouth."

He couldn't handle it anymore because he was about to puke and there were no nearby trashcans or anything he can puke at, so he unintentionally threw up on Jake. Lauren, Ally, Normani and I were laughing so hard at their faces when Harry was puking at Jake. Then, a teacher came and kicked us out of the cafeteria for making a mess.

"We missed you, Million dollar Mila!" Ariana chuckled when we separated from our hug. They took a moment and stare at my tshirt. They looked at Ally who I know is trying to tell them to ignore it. I pretend not to notice it but, I did. I should've picked a different shirt. Before everything gets awkward, I spoke up.

"So are we going to go or are we just gonna go camp at my front lawn?" I joked which made them shake her heads amusedly.

"Ah, little Mila still hasn't changed." Harry rolled his eyes then sighed.

"Hey, you're as corny as I am." I protested.

"I ship it." I heard Ariana whisper to Ally but Ally told her to shush.

"Get in. We still need to set everything up." Wesley motioned us to go in the van. We obliged then got in. Wesley started the engine and a few moments later, we're on the road, about to experience crazy shit we never expect to happen and at the same time we'll never forget.
