chapter 7

y/n's pov

Without a second thought I leave the diner and walk out to the call, something about this boy... I don't know what it is but something about him heals my soul, i can't ignore it anymore. I pressed call.

"Hello..? Tommy?"

"y/n! Hi, I'm really sorry if you were busy or anything, I just seriously need to talk to you! It's rather important..!"

"What's up tommy? Why did you need to talk to me, instead of clay..?"

"The thing is.. y/n, i think you could be-"

My phone died and cut him off, great. I decided to just go into the diner, "clay can you text tommy and tell him my phone died, and that i'll text him when it's charged?" dream looked up at me, grinning, "what's that for?" he just kept grinning, "clay, just please? He was in the middle of saying something. I don't want him to think I was rude and ended the call with him..!" Clay smiled and went on his phone, he started typing away. After a few moments he gave me a thumbs up indicating that he did it and Tommy understood.

After a few more minutes we decided to leave the diner and get back on the road, only 13 hours left till we got to Florida. I'm kind of nervous though. I don't know anyone there and I don't know if I'll be able to adjust, Florida and California can't be that different right? I mean the both have beaches and are a tourist trap- they are similar so far.

I ended up falling asleep for 10 and a half hours, we were now in florida, my phone was charged and dream had pulled into a gas station. "Where are we?" "Good morning sleepyhead!" "har har, now where are we?" "chill y/n, we are just outside of jacksonville, like 2 and a half hours away from orlando," i sigh, "thanks, i'll be right back, i need something to drink and to go to the bathroom," he nods and i get out of my car.

I go into the store with my phone and wallet. Before we left the diner i changed into a sweater a skirt with a pair of white shoes, it was quite comfortable.

The outfit:

I go to the bathroom quickly and when I'm done I grab a white monster and some snacks. While waiting in the line to pay my phone went off, Tommy.

I pay for my things, "have a wonderful day lovely!" i shout leaving the store heading to clay and my car, "okay! Ready to go!" he laughs and starts my car up. I go back to texting tommy.

I just left him on opened because I didn't know what to say to that. We had been talking for about 2 hours meaning we were almost at dream's house. I guess i should be calling it my house as well, i mean seeing as i'll be living there until i could move out.

I plugged my phone in and jammed to the music dream was playing for the remainder of the ride. We pulled into the driveway of a very nice house and the only word that could leave my mouth was, "woah-" clay was laughing in the driver's seat while he was putting the top back on my car and rolling my windows up. "y/n, seeing as it's almost 11pm we can leave the majority of our things out here and i'll grab them in the morning, just grab what you absolutely need!" i nodded and grabbed the few things I needed from the car and we went inside.
