Nightmare

Chapter 34

..RUTHS POV..

I'm cleaning the kitchen when the doorbell rings, I stop what I'm doing and make my way towards the door. As I open it, I see Nora and Lucy. A smile forms on my face and I pull them both inside. "OH MY GOSH LUCY!!" I embrace her in a hug. I haven't seen Nora in almost a month. "Hii Ruth" she says while hugging me back.

We both pull back and i hug Nora, "It's good to see you both" I tell them while leading them into the kitchen. "Yeah, it's nice to be all together again" Lucy says. We all catch up for a bit until Nora tells us he has to tell us something important.

I notice that Nora seems nervous, and sacred. "What is it, Nora? you can tell us" I tell her while holding her hand. "I know, it's just I'm nervous" she says, we all stay quiet for a moment and Nora breaks the silence. "I'm pregnant..." she says.

I feel my heart explode of happiness, I get up and embrace Nora in my arms. "Oh my gosh that's amazing Nora!!" I tell her, I can hear her crying. I pull back and cup her face. "Why are you crying?" Lucy asks, "I'm sacred, I haven't told Diego because what if he's not ready to be a dad??" she says.

I hold her while she cries, "Nora if you want to know that you need to tell him first, I'm sure he will be so happy about this. That man loves you with his whole heart" Lucy says while hugging Nora. "How do you feel about being pregnant?" I ask her, "I mean I'm happy about it, I've been wanting to have a kid. But I'm scared if I lose Deigo and what if I'm not a good mama?" she asks.

"You will be a great mom Nora, and you won't lose Deigo." Lucy says while kissing her cheek. Nora hugs us both and we comfort her while she cries.  An hour later as we're all sitting in my living room Nora says she is craving Pizza, and ice cream.

So, I get up grab my car keys and tell them I'll be back. Five minutes later, I walk into the store and look around for ice cream. I end up getting a small bucket of cookies and cream, and vanilla. I finish paying and start walk out the store, I'm opening the car door when my phone starts ringing.

I lock the car and answer the phone, "Good morning beautiful" Blake says, "good morning handsome, did you just wake up?" I ask him, he goes quiet and then he starts laughing. "Yeah, I just did..." He says, I chuckle while turning on the engine. "Sleepy head." I say, "I was tired, I couldn't sleep because all I could think of was you, my beautiful girlfriend" he says, I feel my cheeks heat up.

"Shut up..." I say, I can hear him laugh on the other side of the phone. "Can I come over later?" He asks, "that's a dumb question Carter" I tell him, "Of course you can come, whenever you want" I say while I'm driving to this pizza place.

"Good, because I miss you" he says, "I miss you too" I tell him, we talk for a little longer before he has to go since he has to work today for a couple of hours. I lock the car doors and make my way inside the pizza place. "Hi, can I get a large pizza please" I tell the lady, "Sure thing" she says. "Can half be pepperoni, and the other half Hawaiian?" I ask her.

she nods with a smile, "anything else?" she asks, "that's all" I tell her. I wait about 5 minutes before they call my name, I thank the guy and make my way out the door. I place the pizza in the passenger seat and start the engine. "Pizzas here!!" I shout while closing the door behind me.

I walk into the living room and the girls get up helping me with the pizza and the grocery bag. "Thank you so much Ruth!! you are the best" Nora says before kissing my cheek. I smile and take out 3 plates and place them on the kitchen table. We all ate and talked for a while before Lucy said she had to go. Then Nora left because she was feeling tired, so now i was alone.

While I'm cleaning the little mess that was left, I hear the front door open. While I'm placing some plates in the sink, I feel strong muscular arms wrap around my waist. "Hello my love..." I hear Blake whisper in my ear. "Hi baby, how are you?" I ask him. "Better now that I'm here with you" he says, I chuckle before turning around and wrapping my arms around his neck.
