Nightmare

Chapter 14

..Blake's POV..

As I walk into school with Owen and Diego by my side, the first person I look for is Ruth. I spot her and I immediately feel happy. It's been 5 months since we've been together I love her so much. Like i love her she makes me feel some type of way. That I can't explain.

I walk to where she is, before I say hi I wrap my hands around her waist and hug her. "Good morning my love.." I whisper in her ear. "Good morning Blake.." she says while sinking into my touch. We both pull away, she turns around I place a kiss on her forehand and she places one on my lips.

"Do you wanna walk with me to class?" I ask her, "I'll love to" she says with a smile. The bell rings and we intertwine our hands together and walk to our first class.

"Gosh Im tired." Ruth says while we're walking to break, "did you get some sleep love?" I ask her she shakers her head no while leaning her head on my shoulder. "Do you wanna stay over tonight?" I ask her.

"I've been staying at your house so many time I don't wanna be a b-" but I cut her off "Ruth you are not a bother, I love to have you home, so does Alex and Carmen. In fact Alex asked me when you were gonna go" I say.

She was smiling "did he?" She asks "yes" I say, "okay I'll go, only because I like sleeping in your arms.." she admits.

I smile and wrap my hand around her waist.

Break is over, I was heading to second period without Ruth. I missed her already, damm I'm becoming so attached to her. "You love Ruth man" Diego says "what no I don't" I say, lie I do love her.

"We can all see it" Owen says "shut up, I don't love her" I say "whatever you say man, but we see it. Your also becoming a big softy" Diego says. Him and Owen start laughing. I punch both of there stomachs, earning glares from them.

The day went on, some parts were boring. The only good parts was when I got to be with Ruth. We're both walking to my house when a little girl comes up to us. She looked so familiar. "Oh my gosh hiii your that girl that cheered me up at the park" the little girl say ohh now I know who she is. "Oh my gosh Hii princess" Ruth say. The little girl hugs Ruth.

About a couple minutes later we were finally home, as I opened the door Alex comes running down the stairs. "BIG BRO YOUR HOME!" He shouts and jumps into my arms.

"Hey buddy" I say, "Ruth you came!" Alex shouts hugging her. She smiles and hugs him back. "Wanna play a new video game my mom got me?!" He asks Ruth. "Sure kiddo let me just go say hi to your mom okay" Ruth says he nods and runs into the living room.

"Hey honey" My aunt says while hugging Ruth. "I'm starting to think you love Ruth more thank you love me" I say with a playful glare "I do" my aunt Carmen says. "Ouch" I say while grabbing some water. "I'm kidding kid I love you both the same" she says messing up my hair.

As I'm in the kitchen with my aunt making some food she looks at me. "What?" I say "nothing you just look happy.." she says with a sad smile, "is that bad?" I ask her "no! It's good it's great" she says. I smile "you even smile, and it looks like a real smile" she says.

"What does that mean" I say "I mean, since the incident you never smiled like a real smile it was fake I could tell, and you were never this happy. And now since Ruth came into your life. You changed you look happier, you smile more. She changed you, she's a good person." My aunt says.

"She's amazing" I say "let me tell you something boy, she's special, she's a great amazing girl. Don't let her go, don't break the girls heart okay. Keep her" Carmen says with a smile. "I won't hurt her I promise" I say she smiles and pats my back. "Alright go get them so they can eat" she says.

I walk into the kitchen and see Ruth and Alex still playing, "go come on we're almost finished!" Alex shouts, they were playing Mario kart. "Go go!!" Ruth shouts, "YES I WON WOHHOO!" Alex shouts, "yeah let's go Alex!" Ruth says giving him a high five.

I walk into the living room and they both look at me, "time to eat" I say Alex gets up and runs into the kitchen. Ruth gets up and walks up to me. She looked upset, "you okay love?" I ask here "I'm okay" she says with a fake smile.

I nod not wanting to push her, we both walk into the kitchen and sit down. As we all sat down eating, I look at Ruth and she looked a little off. I wanted to know why? I scoot closer to her and grab her hand. Intertwining our fingers together.

She looked at me with a small smile, I smiled at her and gently rubbed her hand while we started eating again. As me and Ruth are cleaning the dinner table I go behind her and cause her to bump into my chest.

"Carter you scared me" she says "what's wrong love?" I ask her placing my hands on her waist. Her cheeks turn red, and I feel her body shiver I smirk on the effect I have on her.

"Nothing I'm fine" she says, she looked nervous. I raise an eyebrow. "Don't lie to me.." I whisper in her ear. I heard her clear her throat "it's nothing, I just had a flash back of my sister and I...And I guess i got upset cause I miss her"  Ruth says, I see her eyes getting glossy.

"My love..." I say, a tear rolls down her cheek. I felt regret now, why the hell did I not just let it go. I pull her into a hug. Wrapping my arms around her figure.

"I'm sorry Ruth for making you tell me, when you didn't w-" but she cuts me off "hey it's okay. I just got a little emotional" she says. I nod, I still felt mad at myself. As we both stand there looking at each other's eyes, I want to kiss her. Like really bad. "Is it okay if I kiss you..?" I ask her.

She smiles and laughs. Fuck her smile it's so fucking beautiful, and her smile is like beautiful music to my ears."No you can't kiss me" she says my smile drops. "What why?" I ask her. "I'm just kidding idiot." She says with a chuckle. I smirk, I walk closer to her making her back up. My arms on each side of her caging her in.

She looked nervous, I move my face closer to hers. She smiles at me. I chuckle and smash my lips onto hers. She kisses back, wrapping her hands around my neck. I picked her up, going upstairs. We still kept kissing, I walk into my room closing the door and placing her on my bed. Alex and Carmen left to get grocery's a while ago.

As I remove my lips and start kissing her neck she lets out a whimper. I smirk and trail the kisses back to her lips. As I kiss her she pulls my hair a little making me groan. I'm about to take off her shirt when she stops me.

"Blake.." I stop immediately and look at her. She was nervous "I'm....im not ready to do this" she says I get off of her feeling stupid. "Shit I'm sorry I-" but she cuts me off "no it's okay, I'm just to ready not now. Is that okay..?" She asks.

I smile at her "it's okay Ruth. I'll wait until your ready. Even if it take months or years. I'll wait I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable" I say.

"No you didn't it's okay" she says with a smile. We both lay down, as I'm looking at her I say "can we cuddle" she looks at me with a smile. "Sure" I grin and scoot closer to her. As I'm on my side, I pull her close by her waist and grab her hand intertwining our fingers together.

"Goodnight Carter.." Ruth says, "goodnight Gray" I say and kiss her head.
