chapter 12 ♣ I miss her alot

"Don't worry Kate, you will understand soon enough" she answered me back and indeed I did few days later, I understood what she all meant...." tears started welling in my eyes and there was a huge bile rising up my throat. My stomach felt as if it was knotted and my throat burned. My voice became hoarse as if I hadn't drunken water in weeks.

Wayne gently rubbed my back urging me to go on and honestly, I haven't told anyone this story before. I was usually closed off and preferred to suffer and lick my wounds alone but I was going to spend the rest of my life with Wayne so I might as well tell him, let him at least know a little about my past. So I urged myself to go on and then, I continued

"Few days later, she told my dad that she couldn't bear it again, that she couldn't bear us and then she left. She packed her things and left telling me to take good care of my younger ones and not even giving us a way to contact her"

"I'm so sorry Kate"

*sigh* "no, its okay. That was years ago, I've moved on now. The only reason why I was crying was just because of my dream. As much as I didn't like what my mom did, I still love her to pieces. She also hasn't contacted us since she left. I just hope she's okay wherever she is now, maybe she has started another family with another man...... call it daughter's intuition, but I just can't get this strong vibe off me that something really bad happened to her"

"The dream; Care to tell me about the dream?"

"I can't. It's too horrible" I say whimpering, as a lone tear slide down my cheek.

"Shh. Shh. It's okay, everything's gonna be fine okay?" he mummurs reassuringly

I simply nod my head believing him. Everything's gonna be fine.

★ few minutes later ★

"I think we should go back inside" Wayne says patting my hair smoothly

I shake my head not wanting to go back inside. I loved the serenity of this place. It's just so peaceful and quiet and I don't went to ever leave.

"Haha! Kate, I know you love this place but you do know that today's our wedding right? We have to prepare. We'll hold the wedding here like you said okay?"

I merely Sighed "fine let's go inside"

Wayne and I separated ways to each go and dress up knowing that brides and grooms are not allowed to see each other's dresses before the actual wedding

Wayne went to a different room followed by some of his close friends already waiting to help dress him up while I went to our room. As I opened the door, I saw 3 girls smiling at me and I slowly smiled back though having no clue who they were

One had glittery, long, black, straight hair with a model-like figure and i had to admit, she was beautiful. Another had short blonde hair and was really curvy with a dazzling smile, she was also beautiful but no as beautiful as the first girl. The third girl had a copper red curly hair with mesmerizing purple eyes.

"Surprise!!!" They yelled giggling happily.

I was still shocked not knowing what they were doing here. The brunette immediately sobered up and spoke

"I'm sorry, where's my manners? Good day your Highness, my name is Hazel my blonde friend is Mia while my third is Kayla and we're here to dress you up for your wedding!!!"

I was quite speechless and surprised

"Whoah! Uh... Okay, where do we start?"

2 hours later, I was ready!

I am so sorry guys for not updating for a very long time, over 3 months now, and I thank all of you who still tolerated all that. I've been in school for the past three months and I've only just been on holiday for the past 2 weeks. School starts again September, so I have until then to update as much as I can.
