Akoi POV

I took a deep breath and sighed as we finally reached our destination. "Man, I could get used to this."

I heard Goro chuckle next to me as I looked over the horizon. After the mission's success, our plantation was rewarded with a special vacation. I knew that places like this still existed but I didn't think there was one this nearby.

Zorome and Futoshi ran into the water the moment we arrived, I couldn't help but laugh at them. I helped Goro put up the two umbrellas we brought and he told the two in the water to not go far. "Akio." I looked over at him when he said my name. "What do you think is beyond that cove." I placed my hand on my chin before I came to a conclusion, I felt myself become nervous as I turned to him.

"You wanna know the good things or the dangerous things...?"

"...On second thought, I don't wanna know..."

I laughed at the sudden decision, can't say I blame him though. I heard someone walking up to us and saw that it was Ichigo. "Nana said that they'll pick us up tomorrow morning." I nodded my head and looked back at the water.

While the other two were talking I noticed Goro studdered, I snickered and nudged him with my elbow. When he noticed the look I was giving him he slightly glared at me.

"Darling let's go!" We all turned and saw Zero Two dragging Hiro into the water. "Guess she finally got what she wanted." I guess my sudden comment caused some questions. "What do you mean Akio?" I turned to Kokoro to answer her question. "Well, just before we arrived here Zero Two mentioned that she wanted to see an ocean. Not to mention that Hiro is her official partner now. I can only imagine how happy she is."

The others agreed and I joined Zorome and Futioshi in the water. On the shore, Miku, Emica, And Kokoro were playing with a beachball. "Hey, Akio have you been to a place like this before?" I glanced at Zorome and noticed his gaze never left the girls. "I have, but certainly not like this."

"Yeah, this is certainly a sight for sore eyes." When we all looked to our left we were surprised to see Goro. 'When did he get next to me?' Though I was a bit surprised to hear that come from him of all people, it confused the other two even more.

"Hold on a second Goro, the way you're talking, it almost sounds like you're one of us."

"I thought you double digits were just a bunch of goody-two-shoes. But we may actually have something in common." Goro obviously took offense to their statements and whipped his head to look at them. "What the hell, I'm still a guy just like you are. How am I supposed to ignore this marvelous view? Beside, Akio is a double-digit to yet you don't seem to mind him." I turned to look at Zorome. "Hate to break it to you Zorome, but Goro has a-" I cut my sentence off and looked at the shore when I heard the girls yelp. The three were on the floor.

"Miku, Emica, are you two alright?"

"Yeah."

"Sorry you two I was looking up the whole time."

"Ah, that string's coming undone."

"Oh no! Can you tie it back up for me?"

"Sure, just hold still."

"Thanks Emica..."

The three of us looked at each other before we huddled together. "All hail the glorious beach!" 

Though our weird moment was over when we noticed Hiro and Zero Two. I noticed Zorome and Futoshi look at each other and nod before they dove under the water. Me and Goro looked at each other before we followed them.
