We're finally home. It's twenty-five past two in the afternoon. I'm feeling tired, and my head wants me to have at least a short nap. Lucy, our other house cleaner, took the children to their respective rooms. Mary asked what drinks we would like to have, and Rain favored Rum. I dab my fingers on my forehead and massage it.

"I'll go, Rain."

"I will follow." I turned and began to walk upstairs. Lucy put the kids to sleep, so I don't have to worry too much about checking them. I went straight to our room and changed my clothes.

I almost forgot what I had seen earlier. I got the card out of my pocket and got my phone to make a short call. My eyes went to the door, examining it a little. The other line was ringing. I dialed twice before she picked it up to give an answer.

"Yes, Maddy?"

"I found the said card in Ford's own house, and no date is given." I am careful not to raise my voice.

"Nakauwi na ba kayo?"

"Ngayon lang."

"Maddy, I just want you to know that . . ." She made a short pause. "Your husband is doing something with someone."

"Doing something?" My voice shrinks to a whisper.

"Not a part of a business."

"Are you sure?"

"Illegal transactions."
Without saying a goodbye, I ended our conversation, putting my phone above the table and have a seat. My hands rushing to my face, trying to calm down. For a while, Rain opened the door and entered the room. I calmed myself before facing him.

"How are you feeling right now?" He closed the door behind him and leaned against his closet to change his clothes.

"I can't sleep," I said, and stood. I slowly walked through him. After he changed his clothes, he turned to me.

"So it means we can talk now."

"Do you have something to tell me?" Sumeryoso ang kaniyang mukha.

"Yeah."

"Me too."

"What about?"

"Two things." I nodded, waiting for his next words.

"Una, nagdududa ka sa akin. Pangalawa, may ginagawa ka na hindi maganda." Hindi ako makapaniwala na kaniya itong sasabihin sa akin.

"What are you talking about?" My forehead furrowed with a deep crease.

"You think that I have another woman, right?" Nanatili kaming nakatitig sa isa't-isa.

"That's true."

"Lastly, you flirted with Ford, didn't you?"

"Of course not."

Shit.

"I saw the both of you a while ago. The moment you were in the kitchen, until the moment he made you a trap from a distance because of the fucking card you found in the guest room, the reason of your arguments."
