It's Sunday, and we went to the church to have some prayers. And usually, every Sunday, we appear at the church. And after the ceremony, we went to my friend's house, Tyra.
I finally saw her until we dropped off. She's wearing a floral dress, and as usual, her pretty and cool face makes me like her very much. My kids ran to give her a hug. She welcomed us as we entered the garden. Adams went out and gave a first bump to my husband. He greeted the kids, and they also gave him a sweet hug. The Robins' adore our children, and I wish for them to have a "so-called family."
Tyra hugged me. "I miss you, Maddy."
"I always miss you, Tiara."
And unlike before, paminsan-minsan na lang kaming magkita ngayon, maybe because we are even busier now. Of course, priority namin ang career at lalo na sa side ko na may mga anak na.
Rain accepted Adams' invitation to have tea. Meanwhile, Tyra invited me to have a book conversation in their garden. I allowed my kids to roam around the wide garden, but never took my eyes off of them.
We sat on the round cement chair, looking at each other's eyes, examining a little.
"How's your teaching?"
"Yeah, it's pretty cool and there's no problem dealing with my students."
She nodded. "How about the two of you?"
"We argued a few times, but we're still doing well and we're fine. How about you and Adams?"
Umiwas siya ng tingin sa akin. "We had troubled days until yesterday, and you know. Our weakest link is when we cry on the corner, trying to fix the mess that we actually believe to happened. But we're fine now. I hope it will be forever."
Tumango ako. "I understand."
"Is there any new controversy again?"
"A conversation from a strange one."
She breathed deeply. "A conversation, A strange?"
"But before that happened, I had a nightmare." I feel puzzled. "Someone appeared in my dream, and he knew me. Actually, his voice sounded like the man who I talked to on the telephone after I woke up."
Umusog siya sa akin. "Naniniwala ka ba sa panaginip?" Hindi ako sumagot. "Maddy, hindi lahat ng panaginip ay totoo at hindi lahat ng totoong nangyari ay dulot ng panaginip."
"It makes me wonder, Tiara."
"Did he sound familiar to you?"
"Never at all."
"Be careful, Maddy. Watch out for every step you take."
I tilted my head. "What do you mean?"
"Someone wants to trap you."
I smiled, unable to believe her. "You're making a joke, Tiara."
"Of course not." She held my hand and squeezed it gently. I saw her concerned look.
"RM Hotel and Management Services doesn't exist in any business' firm, and it means that . . . it was faked." Inalis ko ang aking kamay.
"Fake?" I shook my head, unable to believe it. "That's . . . that's crazy."
"Do you know RM?"
