Yeah, piloting a giant lion and turning into a gigantic five part robot known as Voltron was exciting and all, but the excitement didn't stop once the battle was over because it wasn't until later that evening that it all began to sink in for the crew.

They were galaxies away from home, and they didn't know when they would come back. They were further in space than any human had ever traveled before, and now they were spending who knows how long in this castle with two friendly aliens, fighting to save the universe.

So, excuse Percy if he was a little freaked out.

Later, once everyone had settled down in the lounge area, because they all knew that they didn't want to be apart right now. They were sharing the experience together and basking in the unknown, both terrified and giddy.

It took a while for the five of them to get adjusted to the castle and its winding corridors. Once the light had gone from the planet, Will had poked his head into the lounge with a smile, (but Percy wasn't fooled, he still looked overwhelmingly sad. He could see it in his eyes.) "I figured since the day cycle is over, I should show you around the castle. How do humans typically schedule their days?"

"Well, for one, we're not nocturnal," Percy pointed out, and Will immediately frowned.

"I would hope not, it wouldn't be natural for you to only be awake when there is no light."

"Just making sure," Percy put his hands up in surrender, looking to Annabeth for help. Ever since they formed Voltron she seemed more distant, as if she had been pushing away from everyone again. Something must have happened on that ship, and Percy got the feeling that it had to do with her family.

"Well Will," Jason decided he would be the one to explain as they all stood up to follow the blonde alien on his castle tour, "Humans typically eat three meals a day, one in the morning, one at midday, and one at night, typically around this time." At the mention of food, Percy felt his stomach growl, but he was so hungry that he couldn't even manage to feel embarrassed.

"Hmm, we have some edible food here in the castle that I can whip up for you after the tour, though I'm not sure if it'll be to your taste."

"Anything is fine," Grover rubbed at his stomach, "as long as I can eat it."

Will stepped into the familiar room that the cryo-pods were in. "As you can see, this is the main control room where we navigate the castle-"

"Wait wait wait, hold up," Percy interrupted, "Navigate? Are you saying this castle is actually a spaceship?"

"That's precisely what I'm saying Percy, keep up. Did you expect us to protect the whole Universe from just this planet?"

Percy looked over at the others to see if they were shocked, but instantly felt betrayal when there was no emotion on any of their faces. This was fine, he was on a giant castle ship and they would blast off and become space pirates. Everything was okay.

"Now these cryo pods aren't just for freezing a person in time, they are mostly used for healing injuries and such."

"Do they heal something like illnesses?" Annabeth asked, and Will made a humming noise.

"I wouldn't risk putting a sick person in the pods as of recent, since the castle has had no one inhabit it for 10,000 years, it is probably a bit behind on the recent strains of sicknesses floatin' around in the universe. I'll get to updatin' it, but that's not a priority right now."

Percy mentally groaned, great, he hadn't realized he would have to worry about things like the Space plague.

Will continued out of the room and led them to another one. It was a large space with a window overlooking it, though the window wasn't one that you could see through. "This, my friends, is the training deck. You'll get acquainted with this space real soon, it's no doubt Piper will work you to the bone to whip you into shape."
