PERCY JACKSON never believed in fate, Honestly he flat out refused to believe in any God or higher being. Percy didn't want to believe that if there were Gods out there they would be cruel enough to let all the terrible things in the world happen to innocent people like him and his mom, That all their suffering and all of their pain were predetermined. planned. meant to be. And well.. unfortunately Percy Jackson has met the Gods and even the fates personally and let me tell you, they are infact cruel. Cruel enough to kill his fucking mom.
