"CHUG, CHUG, CHUG, CHUG!!" The group chants at Nancy who was shotgunning a beer. Evelyn actually couldn't believe she was really doing it, and the look on Steve's face? Priceless.

Tommy howls while Evelyn and Carol clap for the wheeler girl when she throws the empty can on the ground, throwing her hands up in victory.

"I'm impressed, wheeler." Evelyn smirks with her arms crossed against her chest. "Who knew you were such a party girl."

Carol laughs at her friends obvious teasing, but Nancy smiles bashfully. "Thanks," Nancy said, then she turns to Barbara who didn't look like she wanted to be there at all. "Barb, you wanna try?"

"What? No." Barbara responds with a shake of her head. Evelyn felt bad for the girl, she was clearly not having a good time and was visibly uncomfortable. "Come on." Nancy persisted.

"Nance, I don't want to." Barbara kept saying, but the more she declined, the more Nancy kept pushing her to.

"It's fun! Just give it a—"

"Nance..."

"Just..Just give it a shot." This time, although hesitant, Barbara took the can and knife from her.

Evelyn sat down beside Steve, leaning back on her hands as she watched Barbara closely. Listening to her mumbling to herself whilst trying to carefully cut into the can.

Unfortunately, her hand slipped, resulting in the knife slashing against the side of her palm. Tommy chuckles at this, and Evelyn grimaced at all the blood oozing from the wound.

"Gnarly." Tommy chuckled.

"Are you okay?" Nancy asked her in concern. Evelyn scoffs jokingly, "obviously not." But Barb says otherwise, "Yeah. I'm fine."

"Barb, you're bleeding." Nancy points out the obvious. Barbara seemed to be equally annoyed by this as Evelyn was. "I'm fine." She hissed before looking at Steve, "where's your bathroom?"

"Oh, it's...its, uh, down past the kitchen, to the left." Steve scrambled to his feet to show her.

When she left, Evelyn stood up and walked over to a snickering Carol. "You're such a bitch." Evelyn sighed, shaking her head at the ginger.

Before Carol could reply, both girls were shoved into the pool, screaming just before succumbing into the water.

"Oh, my, god! What the hell, Tommy?!" Carol shrieked.

"I am so going to kill you, Tommy!" Evelyn exclaimed, slapping her arms against the water and creating a splash.

Tommy smirks and flicks his cigarette to the side before he jumps into the pool, followed by Steve pushing Nancy and then jumping in himself.

And just when she thought she had recovered, Steve grabbed Evelyn by her waist and threw her as far as he could, creating another splash.

"You're so dead, Harrington!" She shouts, tackling him under the water.

Although the pool was heated, the night air was cold, so they were out of the pool after a couple of minutes.

"I'm freezing." Carol shivered, the group now inside the house, drying off. "Hm..well, I hear his moms room has a fireplace." Tommy responded while backing up.

"Are you kidding?" Steve said, watching the two leave the room to head up to his mothers. "Okay, well, you know, you are cleaning the sheets."

"You mind if I sleepover, Steve?" Evelyn asked. "Yeah, no, go ahead. Your extra clothes are still in the guest room." He responded, nodding his head.

"Thanks." She smiled, but before she headed upstairs, she gave an uncomfortable Nancy a quick glance. "Have fun."

With that, she was gone.

Entering the bedroom, she immediately strips down from her clothes, leaving her in underwear. Grabbing a slightly cropped, lavender tank tops with white frill trimmings and matching pajama shorts.

She mentally thanked Steve's mom for having her keep clothes there as she always seemed to be at the Harrington household.

Just as she finished putting her shirt on, she spots Barbara sitting at the edge of the pool; her feet bare and in the water. She looked upset.

'Stupid Wheeler..' Evelyn thought, knowing it was definitely her fault that Barbara was so upset.

Shaking her head, she decides to go downstairs and offer the girl company while her best friend screws the most desirable and douchiest boy at Hawkins.

"Hey, I came to check up on-" Evelyn pauses, surprised when she doesn't see Barbara anywhere in sight. "Barbara?" She called out, looking around the backyard.

She was confused. How did she leave so fast? If Barbara was leaving, Evelyn would have at least caught her at the bottom of the stairs for as fast as she jogged down them.

She was going to brush it off, but the feeling on the back of her neck told her not to.
