Madison and Kirin soon made it back to the beach, dropping the branches down where the others had put the things they had found.

And with that they had gotten to work putting up a shelter, not wanting to waste any more time they already have wasted. For the last five days they had been sleeping out in the open which was stupid seeing as they had no protection from rain and other unknown things, Madison thought they should have probably started making this on day two. It was surprisingly Henry who had said they should probably have a shelter, really it wasn't that surprising he was the boy scout after all but it was surprising because he is usually the words that come out of his mouth are unhelpful that just raise their fears.

By the time they had got the shelter up, it had begun to get dark. It took them hours to simply but up a shelter. There had been a lot of arguments and yelling about how to do something right, or how somebody was doing something wrong, they had to take a few breathers before continuing a few times. But they had gotten there in the end.

They all stood around what they had made for a minute. There was a moment of silence before Madison spoke up loudly, "okay!" She said as she clapped her hands together, causing all eyes to snap to her, Madison noticed Kirin's eye roll knowing what she was about to say, Madison ignore that and processed with her suggestion, which wasn't really a suggestion because they were doing it even if they disagree she wasn't going to take no for an answer, "we should do an ice breaker."

"What?" Scotty asked.

"An ice breaker." She stated again, "we don't know how long with will be stuck here so might as well get to know each other." Madison told them. Nobody spoke, which caused Madison to continue after a minute of silence, "just something simple, like three facts about you." She suggested with a wave of her hand.

"I agree." Seth spoke up suddenly, getting the attention on him, "This will probably work out better if we know a bit about each other."

Madison smiled feeling accomplished that somebody agreed.

"I still think this is stupid." Always Kirin being the one to make her roll her eyes.

"Too bad, we are doing this." She deadpan towards him, giving him a slight glare, "none of you have a choice." She said before gesturing towards the ground, "now sat in a circle and spill."

They all did what they were told, "I'll go first." Madison said, knowing it would probably have to be her seeing as nobody other than Seth wanted to do this, "my parents got divorced when I was ten, me and my best friend used to love to star gaze, and music is my only true love." She stated her three facts, making a joke at the end to cover up the slight sting of the mention of her friend. The joke gained a few chuckles.

They all started saying their facts, honestly, Madison didn't know how this would help but who knows, maybe it'll bring up future conversations.

And finally, it was Kirin's turn to state his facts, he was the last one to go. He said the basic things like his age and that he played lacrosse but he started to stumble on his words on the third fact, which was odd for him but everybody chose not to say anything, even Ivan. Kirin seemed like he didn't know what to say for a second, pausing and letting a beat of silence go by thinking about what he was going to say, "my dad was obsessed with astrology when I was a kid, so he would take me up to some lake where you could see the stars and teach me about constellations." He finally said his fact. It seemed like a simple one but Madison could tell it had a meaning to it.

"Astrology? huh." Ivan said with a smirk, tilting his head slightly, "never thought Kirin O'Conner would be into astrology of all things." He said before letting out a scoff.

Kirin glared at him, "I'm not." He stated, "my dad was and I was forced to go when I was like seven." Kirin told him still glaring daggers at him.

Ivan open his mouth to say something but Madison spoke up before he could,
she could sense the argument coming and she could not be bothered dealing with that, nor could anybody else, "okay, great ice breaker. Now we should go get some rest." The boys mumble agreements getting up to find something they could use blankets to
try and keep somewhat warm.

That was another thing that Madison hated about the island, they had no warmth at night. Sure it was hot during the day but at night it became freezing and none of them knew how to make a fire, not even Henry.

Kirin had decided to wake them all up, Madison groaned as she woke up, "what time is it?" She asked still half asleep.

"Around eight in the morning," Henry told her.

Madison turned to Kirin to glare at him, "seriously?" She asked in an irritated tone.

Kirin threw her a cocky smile, that made her want to punch him in the face more than she usually did, "we can't keep sleeping in too long." He informed her causing her to roll her eyes, says who she thought, "And we need systems in place." He said.

"Like what?" Madison asked.

"Like the buddy system, nobody should go out too far alone." That Madison agreed with, they weren't familiar with the island,
God knows what's lurking out there. "So that's a rule," Kirin announced loudly making sure to grab everybody's attention, "no going off on your own."

"Yes, captain," Madison said sarcastically while getting up, giving Kirin a mock salute, which Kirin rolled his eyes at.

While everybody else went to do their own thing, Kirin kept on talking to Madison.
"We should also check out how much food is left at some point today." He added on to the list of things that needed to be done.

"I am sure there is still enough to do us for a while," Madison said trying to be optimistic. Usually, she is a Debbie downer but they already had one of those on the island, they didn't need another one.

Kirin nodded agreeing, "yeah, but still need to go through it."

Madison shrugged, "we can do that after I try to get as much sand as possible out of my hair." She told Kirin beginning to walk to her suitcase to grab her red bikini to put on.

"Yeah, Imma go wash off in the ocean now." He said before walking off in the opposite direction of where Madison was going, which was to go behind some trees, to change into a bikini.
