Chapter 10

"Just because our parents got married, doesn't mean that I'm gonna be good to you and treat you like a brother." I grimly objurgated him who's now looking at me with penitent looking eyes.

I suddenly woke up from my dream. I can't believe I had that dream. It's something that I've always said to Soonyoung all these time.. I really regret all of my actions and words towards Soonyoung and my stepfather. I wish to return as soon as possible and apologize to them.

I sat up and turned my head around, I saw Wonwoo and Mingyu who's sitting watching the night sky together.

"Why are you both not sleeping?" I asked as I took a seat at the middle between them since I saw they left a space which could fit me.

"Eh? What about you?" Mingyu looked so concerned as he asked me that question.

"I just woke up from a bad dream." I mumbled.

"What dream?"

"About my stepbrother.. You know, I hated him so much because I never agreed with my mother marrying his father. He cared so much about me, he treated me with so much kindness but I was such an asshole to him." My eyes went teary afterwards. I tried so hard not to cry, this isn't the time to cry, I have to be strong.

"Apologize. Nothing could be more better than apologizing." Wonwoo put his hand on my shoulder as he flashed me a warm smile.

"Yeah.. He's your brother now. For sure, he'll accept your apology and forgive you. That's what family do." Mingyu gently patted my head. I nodded my head as I smiled at the two.

"What about you both? Why aren't you both sleeping?" I asked back.

"I woke up and saw Wonwoo reading your book and since I can't go back to sleep, I decided to accompany him." He replied with a smile. Seeing him this close, I noticed how hot Mingyu really is.

Youngbyul, stop!

"I have to finish reading this book before Youngbyul returns to her world." Said Wonwoo.

"Yeah.. I haven't finish reading it too. Take your time." I giggled softly.

"By the way.. Are you guys the only so-called humans living in Neverland? What about a person like me? A girl?" I wriggled my eyebrows as I stared at the two out of perplexity.

In lieu of answering my question, the two stayed silent which makes me be even much more curious and confused. Two of them have this uneasy looks on their faces.

"Tell me." I hold Wonwoo's upper arm.

"You remember right about the Red Queen eating a girl's heart to make her stay young for a very long time?" Mingyu raised an eyebrow to me.

"Yea?"

"That's exactly what happened to all the lost girls." He bluntly remarked. My jaw dropped as I gasped, covering my mouth.

"No way!" I shout-whispered not wanting to be the reason for the others waking up from their sleep.

"Wait.. So, lost girls existed too? I thought there's only lost boys.. Never heard of lost girls." I said, totally amazed and in an exact awe.

"Yeah.. One of the lost girls was actually Scoups' girlfriend.. That's why Scoups are always stern and strict but we totally understood why he's like that." Explained Wonwoo to me.

"Hmm.. Poor him. He must've felt really heartbroken to lose someone precious, someone that he loved so much. I totally relate to that.." I mumbled as I lowered my head.

I felt a hand stroking my hair gently and it's Wonwoo.

"So.. All the lost girls died because of Red Queen. And since I'm here, she will do the same if she finds out that I'm here in this world." I restated based on what I understood from what they've told me.

"Yeah, she only eat a girl's heart." Added Mingyu.

"Well then, I don't think she'll be able to find me. Where does she lives?" I in an innocent and in a not-knowing-anything way questioned the two.

"Spooky Land. That's where she lives." Wonwoo answered. My jaw dropped but then I closed my mouth and shook my head as I hold my head with my two hands.

"How are we gonna escape Spooky Land without getting caught? It seems scary.." I muttered.

"That's what Scoups have been thinking about the whole day." Stated Mingyu.

"Talking about White Queen and Red Queen. That's weird. In my world, White Queen and Red Queen are actually siblings. Something happened and they became enemies. Does Red Queen have a big head shaped like a heart?" I raised an eyebrow.

Wonwoo and Mingyu stared at each other for quite awhile before they bursts out into laughter but soon they realized and covered their mouths with their hands where I'm just here watching them not knowing anything.

"What are you talking about? In fact, both the queens are very pretty. But of course, White Queen are much more prettier." Mingyu couldn't stop chortling.

"And in this world, they're not siblings. Actually, Blue King got two wives. First wife, White Queen and second wife obviously Red Queen. But when Blue King died, the two fought to take the crown but since White Queen is the first wife, she deserves the crown and there she's the ruler of Wonderland." Wonwoo pointed out the truth and I'm just here blinking my eyes in disbelief.

"Red Queen went missing for a very long time until one day rumors spread that Red Queen created her own Kingdom which is Spooky Land." Mingyu continued.

My mouth went opened again.

"But even though now she owned her own kingdom, she still wants to take over Wonderland and be the ruler of Wonderland." Mingyu resumed to his story.

"Geez.. So there's war happening between Spooky Land and Wonderland?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Well, yeah. But it stopped years ago when White Queen created a magical barrier, it gives no access to anything that comes from Spooky Land." I was actually amazed to hear that.

So far, Neverland aren't really like what I think it really was and now Wonderland? It's far different from what I know based on the movie called Alice in Wonderland.

"I guess there's a lot of things more that I didn't know. You guys should tell me more about this world." I smiled.

"Yeap. I could tell you everything-"

"No, Youngbyul should sleep." Wonwoo stood up and grabbed my arm, cutting Mingyu off. I couldn't protest but to stand up. I gave him my pleading face but he shook his head instead.

"It's still a long way to reach Wonderland. You should rest when you have the chance to." He brought me back to where I slept earlier. I heaved a very long sigh and layed down while death glaring him.

He chuckled.

"How old are you?" He asked me.

"Probably 100 years younger than you." I answered in a very sarcastic way.

"That's right.." His answer befuddled me. Wonwoo chuckled and shook his head. He keeps staring at me while smiling and I somehow feels awkward about it as well as my heart that keeps beating faster.

"If I am to be in your world, how old do I actually look?" He frowned.

"Uh.. 24? 25? I would still believe even if you said you're 18." Wonwoo was stunned to hear that as I can see that his eyes went slightly widened.

"I'm 126.."

"Wtf."

"What about you?"

"I'm 17." I can see that Wonwoo's actually surprised to know my age. I mean.. I'm 17 while he's 126 when we both looks we're just few years apart.

"Okay, go to sleep. Youngbyul." He patted my head and went away to sleep with the other lost boys.

126..

Welp, that's the most huge age gap ever. I'm 109 years younger than him.

i've finished writing this story until the last chapter so i'm gonna be active in updating again! ALSOOO nope, i'm not gonna tell if it's a happy or sad ending, NO SPOILERS NYEHEHE y'all have to read until the last chapter to know <3
