KIDNAPPED BY MY BOSS

CHAPTER Thirteen

Rob POV

Everything was just perfect last night. What's even more perfect was I was her first. When I saw the blood, I couldn't believe my eyes. She was so pure and innocent. I am going to be the only man to touch her.

As I lay here in bed, watching Adriana sleep was amazing but the worst was yet to come. My guards alerted me that there was a woman here. I thought maybe it was the woman from that one night. Unwillingly, I got out of bed.

"Honeybee! You are a hard man to track down." She said as I came down the stairs. I was frozen on the stairs. It was no other than.

"Kate!" I barely managed to spit out.

"The one and only!" She responded to me. I looked at her, she had a baby bump.

"I see you moving along with your life. You shouldn't have some all the way out here with your pregnancy." I told her.

"I had no choice. I have to come look for my baby father." She says while rubbing her stomach.

"Tell me his name and I'll track him down." I told her.

"It's you, Rob!" She says with a smirk on her face.

"Get the fuck out!" I told her.

"Remember that night, you were pretty wasted and so was I. You slept with me, I guess you didn't use protection." She told me. I didn't remember much about that night, all that I was so pissed off Adriana turned me down again and I went drinking. I didn't remember much after that. I woke up to Kate in bed with me. I haven't seen Kate for more than ten years and now that I have moved on she's back.

"What do you want, Kate?" I asked her.

"You!" She said, handing me some marriage papers to sign.

"You must be kidding me? Do you think I will marry you because you're pregnant? If the child is mine. I will support it." I told her. Placing the papers next to the house papers that I have bought for Adriana. I bought her a house for us, closer to her college so she won't have to go the long distance to the mansion.

"I think you will. You know what happened the last time I was pregnant. I know you won't want a repeat of that." She threatened me.

"If you think I won't have you on Twenty four hours watch. You get something else coming." I fired back at her.

"You can't hold me prisoner, Rob. The law won't allow it." She said and I just laughed.

"Oh Kate, it's not hard to get a judge to agree to it considering your history." I told her as I sat in my chair.

"Sweetheart, you and Lucas thought I lost the child right? But I didn't and if you ever want to see your daughter again you will do as I said." She told me, well, threatening me exactly what it was. She came and sat on my lap.

"Kate, it's Lucas's child and not mine. Now get the fuck off my lap." I almost screamed at her.

"She's yours, baby. I only claimed it to be Lucas because I knew he was rich. I never knew you were his cousin or else I would have told the truth." She said, with no emotion whatsoever.

"You are sick!" I told her. I regret not finding out sooner if she escaped from the mental hospital. But after that morning, I haven't seen her and she hasn't turned up at Lucas's so I let it go.

"You have no idea. Now if you don't want our daughter to get hurt. Do as I say." She handed me her phone, showing me a picture of a girl. The girl kind of resembles me. And it left me shocked. She didn't lose the baby after all these years.

"Or I can kill that sweet little thing of yours. You like pretty little college girls don't you." She said, which got my attention and I was pissed at her. I know she's crazy enough to kill Adriana because she did attempt to kill Ava.

"What do you want Kate?" I asked her.

"I want you to sign those papers and kiss me. Well kiss me first. She told me.

As I did, Adriana came marching into my office and she left frozen there. I pulled myself away from Kate's lips. Only to see the disappointment in Adriana's eyes and I knew I had hurt her so badly. I pray to God she forgives me. Kate whispered into my ears, get rid of her or else I will do it permanently.

"What the fuck going on here?" Adriana literally yelled.

"Who's that my dear?" Kate spoke loudly.

"Just a whore." I said and the word cut me deep in my heart and I knew it hurt Adriana even more. I should have been there when she woke up this morning.

"You bastard!" Adriana yelled at me. I had no choice but to comply with Kate 's demands, it was not only my life at stake but Adriana and that sweet little girl.

"You wanted to leave, now you can. I got what I wanted and now you can leave. Just sign those papers over there. It's your resignation letter." I told her, I know it was the only way I could have gotten Adriana to leave. Tears started to roll down her eyes. She was crying and it shattered my heart to a million pieces.

Adriana walked over to the table crying while she signed the papers. I saw her pick up her passport and run out of the office crying. Kate got off my lap finally and I signed the papers. Kate wanted to leave right away. I tried to find Lara but was told she took Adriana to the airport. I called the airport to book a flight for Adriana, because I just remembered she doesn't have any money on her except for her passport. Then I tried calling Lara but she wasn't answering.

I called Lara house and spoke with her daughter, Rana. She told me that her mother doesn't want to work for me any longer. My guess was that she found out what I had done to Adriana. I told Rana to inform Lara to come collect her final payment, and also I would cover six months of pay until she finds another job. But to my surprise, Rana told me to shut it. She says her mother doesn't need my money and she hangs up.

My jet had taken Martinez back to the States, now I have to wait till tomorrow for it to return. I set Kate up in one of the bedrooms far away from mine. She wanted to sleep in the same bed as me but I reminded her that I only signed those papers because of my daughter, if it's my daughter for real. I couldn't take the chance if she wasn't buff. That little girl could have seriously gotten hurt.

I had guards stationed at my door to ensure Kate doesn't get to enter. I headed to bed, only to realize that Lara didn't make the bed. I pulled off the covering sheet, just to find the one covered with blood. It was my memory of Adriana. She has given herself to me. I knew I never deserved to have her in the first place and now I ruined her. I broke her.

I pulled the sheets off and replaced them with new ones and then got into bed. I just lay there, I couldn't sleep because I couldn't get Adriana off my mind. She hasn't gone to the airport yet. I had my men looking for her. I wondered if she's okay. Maybe she got Ava to get her a ticket and return home. I knew Ava will kill me or maybe not if I explain to her what happened. Maybe Ava would understand.

It was almost midday and Kate and I were heading to the airport. But I made a detour to Lara's place. Kate wasn't happy but I just don't give a fuck. When I got there Lara, her daughter and granddaughter weren't there. The landlord told me they left this morning and won't return. He says Lara told him to sell her stuff, even their car and keep the money.

I couldn't wrap my head around it. Where would Lara go? Did she despise me so much that she chooses to run into me ever again.
