Darkness

Chapter 1

Flash back from Lilly's POV:

Today I turn 6 and my mommy says she has a big surprise waiting for me! And I have to wear a blind fold while we drive there!

My new daddy put the blind fold on my eyes and I was carried to the car, I must have fallen asleep because it only took us a second to get there... I hope I am going to get a puppy.... I don't like kitty's they are to boney and don't give good hugs!

My mommy lifted me out of the car and I couldn't see light out of the blindfold anymore.... How long did I sleep for?!

"Ok sweety you can look now!" My mommy said as she took off the blind fold.

I saw a beautiful house and a pretty garden out front why were we here? And where is the surprise?!

"Mommy what is the surprise?" I asked looking around.

"We are going to live here now isn't that great?! And now you get a room to your self like a big girl!" My mommy said excitedly as we walked inside. Before this place I lived in a small apartment building full of nice old people! They all smelt funny but they were all nice to me, I was the only kid there. Maybe there will be other kids here!?

"Here is your room sweety!" My mommy said as we got to the top of the stairs inside and went to a door at the end of a short hall.

My room was purple and pink! It had wooden floors and dolls everywhere! I even had a big bed to myself! And there was another door in my room and curtains all along one wall. My mommy set me down and let me walk around my room when she left. I opened the door in my room to see a big huge bathroom there! It was purple and pink too! And the shower curtain had little hearts and circles on it! Then I ran out to the huge curtain and opened it... It was like an enchanted forest! The trees were all so pretty and it looked like the princess forests! WAS I A PRINCESS!!??... Haha no. But. Now I could play princesses with the other girls on the street! I hope we have good people next to us! And kids my age!

"Bebe dinner is ready!" My mommy yelled to me so I scurried down stairs!

"Mommy what are we having" I asked her since I was too short to see over the table... The doctor said I am too short for my age group.

"We are having macaroni tonight" she said while she lifted me to my special seat. It had a booster seat connected to it so I could reach my food.

 "Mommy where is daddy?" I asked noticing he was nowhere in sight.

"Well sweety we won't see daddy agin for a while because he had to go on a business trip" She said while eating her food. She sighed and frowned too, she looked a bit sad and stopped talking.

"Ok mommy" I said while I finished my mac'n cheese. Then I finished and she gave me a bath and put me to sleep in my new bed I fell right asleep with mr. Tedders! My teddy that my old daddy gave me he is my 'real daddy' and when my mommy and daddy 'fell out of love' this is what he gave me I was only 3 so I don't really remember him but I remember my new daddy!

The next day:

"sweety wake up we are meeting the people next door today" my mommy said as she picked me up out of bed and into the bathroom. She started to run me a bath and I got my p.j.'s off. I hopped in and there were mr.bubbles bubble bath soap everywhere!

Soon I got out and my mommy dried me off and I put on a pear of overalls and a pink t-shirt with my jacket over it it was also pink and then my strap on shoes. Then I ate my coco pops with a glass of milk and we headed out the door.

My mommy knocked on the door and soon a lady about my mommys age opened up. We walked in and I saw a boy that looked my age running around and I hid behind my mommy.

"How old is she?" I heard the lady ask.

"She is 6 her birthday was yesterday." My mommy said while looking at me.

"Isn't she a little short for her age? she's so adorable!" The lady said as my mommy picked me up. And I hid my face in the crook of her neck.

"Harry! I want you to meet someone!" 

She yelled and the boy appeared into the room.

"Yes mommy?" He asked he had bright green eyes and was definitely taller than me!

"Here Lilly why don't you and Harry play" My mommy said as she set me down.

"Hi I am Harry" He said while stuffing the rest of his cracker into his mouth... Now he has crumbs everywhere on his face.

"I am Lilly" I said "what do you want to play?" I asked him while clutching onto my mommys leg.

"How about tag!?" He said and I nodded.

Then he yelled "you are it!" And he ran off. rude! So I chased him up stairs and his legs were longer than mine so I couldn't keep up! So I hid and waited like in the cartoons! He went around the corner I was hiding in and I tagged him and ran down stairs. Then I fell down the stairs!

"Lilly are you okay!" Harry asked me and I was just scared I didn't cry though cause nothing hurt my butt broke my fall thank god!

"Yeah I am fine Harry"I said

"We should play doctor now! I will be the doctor and you are the patient!" And with that he grabbed my hand and pulled me up the stairs like a rag doll!

We did stuff like this everyday and sometimes I even got him to play princesses and house with me! We went to the same school and were in the same classes too!  We were inseparable!
