Logan and child

Logan POV

   There was a knock at the front door and I open it. At the door was a little boy, he had a bag and a jacket on. "My name is (m/r) I was told that I had to come here." I sigh and I open the door more and the kid walks in.

"My name's Logan, I'll take you to Xavier's office." They follow me and I sigh, the kid was very quiet, too quiet. When we get to the door I knock on and it. We heard a come in and I open the door.

"Xavier I'll be back, just need to go get something." He smiles and shakes his head and then sighs as I leave. There was something weird about that kid, they are too quiet. Some kids can be quiet but he was silent, never asked any questions at all.

(m/r) POV

When the man leaves the room I let a sigh out and I look at the Professor. "Welcome, my name is Xavier, I'm glad to meet you. Please come in tell me why your here?" He smiles at me and I sit down on the chair and grab a envelope from my pocket.

"My father told me to give this to you, I wasn't aloud to see what it says." He takes it and opens it then starts reading it. The bald man looks up at me and sighs looking at me. "(m/r) are you going to be staying here for a while or until you get control of your abilities?"

"My father wanted me to stay as long as I wanted, so I'm not sure. But I want to make sure I won't hurt anyone. If I want to leave after that then I might." He nods his head and shows me around the academy.

"Would you like for Logan to help you around the school?" "Sure it doesn't matter to me that much." We walk around and then I see the Logan guy. He saw us and started to walk to us.

"Your going to be responsible for (m/r) alright Logan?" Logan looks at me and then back at Professor Xavier. "You showed him around so I guess I should take you to class?" "But first I need to put my bag in my room."

Logan nods his head and we walk away from the Professor. We get to my room and I open it, I look inside and smile. "Wow I have my own room, I've never had my own room." But then I stop and put my bag down and start putting things away.

"How am I going to train my power?" "That depends on what your power is." I nod my head and I look at the floor. "Your first class is... blah blah blah."

I sit on my bed listening but hearing fix at the same time. "After I'm done with training my powers I can go home right? My sister needs me and so do my other siblings." He looks at me confused but nods his head slowly.

"Kid, I'll see you tomorrow, 8:30 in the morning." He walks out of the room and I sigh laying down on the bed. After closing the door I lay back down on the bed. Before falling asleep I think about my siblings.

When I wake up it was 3:00 am and I start writing letters. After finishing writing letters to my family, individually, I walk to the kitchen. "What are you doing up right now?" I jump up while turning around and I bump my head.

As I run my head I see Logan standing there. "I woke up, so I decided to write something. But then I got thirsty, so I'm getting some water to drink. Am I not supposed to get water right now?"

He sighs and sits at the table next to me and I stand up. "I got the water I needed so I'm going to bed now." When I get to my room I sigh and lay down. That was a close one, he may be short but he's still scary.

Logan isn't shorter than me but he is still short. I fall back asleep and wake up seeing my shoes by the door. After getting dressed I put my shoes on and it was 8:29. When I finish tying my shoes I hear a knock on my door.

I open the door and I see Logan standing there with a tired face. "First class is History, let's go if your ready." Before I start walking away I close the door. When we get to the classroom I walk in and sit in a seat.

Then a woman walks in she starts talking and we start writing notes. All my classes go on like that and it was boring. "Now that your classes are over you have to start training." We walk over to a room that was white, it looked very clean.

"What's your ability anyway?" "I can change into any animal but Professor Xavier told me I could do more. For now when I turn into a animal I can't be that big." He looks at me and then turns grabbing a tablet.

"What kind of animals can you do?" "I can be any animal but if I were to try and be a large animal I might faint." He nods his head and then shows me the tablet. "Try and be this animal and then switch to another."

Before changing I take a deep breath looking at the floor. When I change I turn into a jaguar and then into a cheetah. He tells me to keep changing for as long as I can. I keep changing but then I hear a noise, and it messes me up.

Without realizing it I had stopped and now was chasing after that noise. It doesn't matter though, I've heard that noise before. But then a hand grabs me and stops me from running. I look up confused looking around in the direction of the noise.

"You hear it to right?! That noise I've heard it before there's something wrong." Logan holds onto me and keeps the confused look. "How about I check it out and you stop running?"

I nod my head looking at the floor and he was gone. When he returns he shrugs his shoulders at me. "You probably heard it from the city. Your ears could've been overwhelmed from the noises."

We start walking back but I still worry. Time passes and I have become friends with Logan he's sorta like a dad. My siblings have been sending letters except for my sister, she probably forgot.

Today I am being aloud to go back home, only thing that changed is my parents are divorced now. "Hey mom, are you happy to see me?!" I run to her and go to hug her, but she stops me? "You, (m/r) your a mistake, you are a sinful child.

(m/r) your not my son you can't come home, you're going to scare everyone." I look at her confused and turn to Logan. He looks at me and then at my mother. "He doesn't need you anyway, let's go (m/r)."

My mother leaves and I walk with Logan, face and mind blank. When I go to my room I unpack my things. People start to pity me and say things to me. But I could only hear muffling my brother wrote to me.

'Dear (m/r),
I'm sorry for lying to you but El died, they found out they were a mutant. They started to get bullied and then it went out of control. There was a huge noise that went around the city, it was horrible. Please forgive me for not saying anything. Forever love you

I lay in my bed and I sigh feeling warm tears go down my face. After a while I get tired of laying on my bed and I go outside. When I get outside I lie down on the ground sighing. Life really threw me against the wall.

Still crying I look up at the stars, it was around 2:46 am. Then I feel a hand grab my shoulder and I instantly grab onto it. I squeeze it tightly and throw the person, or try. When I turn around I sigh and sit back down.

"Sorry about that, just a little on edge." I wipe my eyes but Logan just sits next to me. Then he gives me a side hug and I let my tears roll down my face. "I'm really sorry for everything I've put you through."

My voice shakes and cracks as I talk, he sighs and look at the hills. "Not your fault your damn parents are so bad." We sit there and he runs my head trying to be nice. I smile finally calming down, "thanks."

After a while of sitting outside we walk back inside to my room. "Want me to leave?" I shake my head and he smiles sitting on a chair. He ticks me in then I fall asleep as he smiles at me.
