Bruce and Clark and child
3rd POV
"Great job Damian and Jon!" The both of them smile at Superman. "First we should get dinner and then we can have a party, right?" Jon nods his head and smiles at all of us. "On Saturday we're going to celebrate Damian's graduation.
We're going to go to dinner, and then have desert since you don't want a party." Damian nods his head and smiles at me. (m/r) stands there listening to everyone taking the information in. He stands up and starts walking to his room.
"Where are you going?" He looks down at Superman and gives a weak smile. "I'm just really tired right now, so I'm gonna head out." They nod their head and then continue talking about their plans.
Once (m/r) gets to his room he closes the door and stands thinking. 'This is sorta unfair, I don't want to make it about myself it's their day. But what about me am I just not important enough to have a celebration.' He shakes his head and sighs as he climbs out of the window.
Soon the young boy was sitting on a building. Far away from the others he knew they wouldn't be able to hear him. Especially the Kriptonions who had super hearing. He sits knees tucked into his chest, whimpering.
The lump in his throat starting to grow larger, little by little. It made him want to throw up or something like that. He turns his head feeling a presence behind him. "What are you doing here so far away from the Manor?"
A sigh is heard and the (h/c) turns his head towards the shadowy figure. "Just went out for a walk, I'm not tired." When they say that the shadowy figure comes out to the light. "(m/r) tell me the real reason your here."
(m/r) looks to the man in the bat suit and he gives him a tired look. "Nothing, those two Kryptonians and your son are having fun. Planning their graduation party and dinners, that's all. It's all cool I guess just bored of listening to it.
Just wanna hang out, out of the manor for a little I guess." The teenage boy, stands up and starts walking to a different corner of the building. "Maybe I should just go now?" Just as he was going to leave, Batman grabs his shoulder turning him around.
Then Batman gives him a hug and he lets him go. When he lets go the boy stands there and then leaves, jumping from the building. The boy runs to a building and then looks down to a park. He goes down the stairs slowly and walks to the park.
The park was silent and dark, nobody was there but him. A branch snaps behind him and (m/r) turns around. "Hey Dick what are you doing here?" The ex acrobat sighs shaking his head looking at the teenager.
"(m/r) what's wrong, you only come here when something is wrong." The black haired man sighs, walking closer to the middle schooler with a caring face. "Nothing I'm just bored and sorta tired." "Then you should go home and do something."
The (h/c) boy turns around, sighing and then goes home. When he gets home he sees Clark and Jon sleeping on the couch together. He walks up the stairs with a tired blank face. Then he starts walking to his room but then gets stopped by a hand.
"Why are you going to bed so early (m/r)?" He sighs and turns around to see Damian his robin costume still on. "I don't know I'm just bored so I'm tired." Damian looks at me worried and we walk into my room.
"(m/r) I know your lying to me just tell me." The boy sighs with a shaky voice and looks at Damian. "It's unfair, I get it your going to 6th grade I'm proud, it's amazing! Jon is going to 6th grade that's also amazing!
I don't want to make it about myself but what about me? This might not be important it actually isn't important at all but I kinda think it is to me. Nobody has even told me, 'I'm proud of you' or 'good job (m/r).' Nothing, I don't want to bring it up though.
I don't want to cause any trouble or problems for any of you. Damian, I'm sorry you can leave if you want. It doesn't matter anyways, it's stupid." Damian shakes his head looking at me.
"(m/r) if this is how you really feel you should tell someone. If it's important to you then it is important no matter what. Just say or do something and lift that weight from your chest." The middle schooler takes a deep breath and nods his head.
"Okay I'll tell them, I'll tell them right now." Damian smiles at the other and they hug. Then the teenage boy leaves Damian sitting on the bed with a smile. When the preteen gets down the stairs he walks up to Clark.
Clark had woken up and was in the kitchen, crunching some numbers for the parties. "Can I talk to you please?" The Kryptonian turns around and smiles nodding his head. "Sure, what do you want to talk about?"
"Well... I think it's unfair that Jon and Damian get something for graduating but I don't. Honestly I am proud and happy for them but what about me? I don't want to make it about myself but why can't I get something? I know 8th grade doesn't really matter but it... sorta does to me."
When the boy finishes he was starting to tear up. The alien looks down at him listening to what he said. "Bruce and I wanted to take you out for your own lil thing. It was gonna be just us but we can have a party if you want?"
Clark smiles at (m/r) and (m/r) sniffles nodding his head. "No, thank you that's perfectly fine, I thought you weren't gonna do anything for me." (m/r) smiles at Clark and Clark hugs him. "We we're gonna go to a restaurant or something.
How about we go to the place we all first went together, on Thursday?" The (h/c) nods his head wiping his eyes and nose. Bruce walks in the room and looks at Clark then to (m/r). "What happened, Clark what did you do?"
Timeskip
Bruce, Clark, and (m/r) sit down at the restaurant eating their food. "I think we should get chocolate moose cheesecake." Bruce nods his head and soon a waiter comes by. "Can we get a chocolate moose cheesecake?"
The waiter nods their head and leaves. The three of them laugh talking about their day. "After that I punched them and they flew!" They all start laughing looking at each other with smiles.
"Your cheesecake" the waiter leaves after putting the cheesecake down. When the waiter leaves the three superheroes laugh. "(m/r) we care about you more than you think, you do know that right?" The boy stares at his adoptive parents, "yes I do."
