The next day was chaotic. We were rushing to get everything finished for the play. I got a text, grabbing my phone and checking it.
Sharpay
I'm graduating today
Congrats...
You miss me?
It's just, I'm overwhelmed
Deep breaths Ry, you got this
The play is happening tonight
I understand
No Shar, you don't, I can't do this
Don't say that!
I have to go
It was the day, it was the night. We were graduating. Everyone already had their cap and gown. The stage was ready. The parents were in the crowd as the leads get on.
Time skip cause I'm lazy
and want to finish this.We hid behind the small group of students who sang. Soon we emerged and stood there silently. Ms. Darbus said each person's names and they stepped forward. She called My name, allowing me step forward.
"Ryan Evans, accepted into Juliard," She spoke clearly.
My eyes widened, as my hand covered my mouth. I didn't expect that at all. After the ceremony, I ran to Zeke and hugged him. He smiled and kissed me, making me smile.
"Uh, Ryan?" A voice asked.
I looked over my shoulder to see Chad. Zeke let go of me as I glared at Chad.
"I just wanted to apologize," Chad said.
"It's okay, I guess," I responded.
"Someone's waiting for you outside, by the way."
"Uh, thank you?"
I walked outside with Zeke to get to mom. She didn't want to go inside for the ceremony. A flash of sparkle glistened in my eyes. Zeke went to his family. I thought about it, and my eyes widened.
"Shar?" I asked.
Her curly hair got in my face as she embraced me into a warm hug. Tears streamed down my cheeks as I hugged her tightly. "I'm sorry," I muttered into her shirt.
"For what?" She questioned.
"How my texts came off."
"It's okay Ryan."
"Juliard accepted me."
"That's great Ry! You can achieve your dreams!"
"I know, I'm so excited."
This ended having 333 words, send help. I struggled to finish this, sorry for the kinda crap ending of this.
