I followed the woman's instructions, but they only brought me to a large home. Sabo couldn't be from here.

I knocked lightly worried I'd get in trouble. A large man held his chin up as he answered the door.

"Yes?" He questioned rudely.

"I'm um I was wondering if Sabo could come out and play?" I tried to look as innocent as possible as I held my hands behind my back.

"No." He spat coldly before slamming the door in my face.

I looked around at all the guards. How would I get through all of them? Nothing came to mind as I turned to walk away.

"(Y/N)!" I heard sabos voice call, but when I looked back he was no where to be seen.

I continued my walking until I was near the gate. I wasn't going to leave, but I needed to wait until sundown.

The old woman popped up beside me again. I didn't even notice her until she spoke. "Perhaps it's better to shop in the day when the sun isn't blaring. At night, the stores may be closed but the security system will go off." I glanced at her before she walked away from me and into a crowd.

"Well what's that suppose to mean?" I questioned tired. "Does that mean I need to go after Sabo now?" I whispered to myself.

It was decided. I snuck around the house and past the guards and up to the roof. I scooched my way toward one of the windows hoping it would be Sabo.

I pushed open the unlocked window and silently jumped in the room. Sabos crying came from a small vent connected to the basement.

"Let's get out of here, Sabo." I smiled grabbing hold of the metal vent trying to pry it open.

"I cant..." He sniffled not making eye contact. "You, Ace, and Luffy have to get away!" He whisper screamed gripping the bars.

"You can get out I know you can!" I whispered back hearing foot steps walking towards us. I quickly jumped out the window and slid down into a bush.

"Sabo, who where you talking to?" An angry voice questioned kicking the vent. "You won't escape again!"

I rushed towards grey terminal as fast as my feet would carry me. "I have to tell Ace!" I cried almost running into several people.

But, at the gate, they wouldn't let me through no matter how much I fought or begged.

A gentle hand grabbed my shoulder, "she's just very empathetic, I'll take her home now." The familiar old woman sighed pulling me away from the guards and down a street.

"You can't save anyone if you die trying to do something so irrational!" She scolded me as she dragged me off somewhere else.

"But Ace and Luffy!" I cried reaching towards the door. But it was to no avail.

Shortly after I had gone unconscious from the smell, and it stayed that way for two days. At least until we had to go welcome the celestial dragons.

The smell of rotting corpses made me extremely nauseous. I don't know how everyone else was unphased by it.

I slipped on the beautiful light pink dress the old woman had given me. It matched the pink bucket hat I had always worn, a gift from dadan.

"You look just lovely honey. I'm sure you'll be able to escape with all the commotion today will cause." I would forever be in debt to this woman.

"Thank you, Miss Elaine..." I sniffled rubbing my eyes.

One of her famous smiles formed on her wrinkled face as she pushed my hat farther down on my head, "I expect you to pay me back one day."

My brows furrowed in confusion as I moved my hat.

"You'll understand one day when you meet them..." She always spoke so ominously.

We walked in silence towards the gate. Whenever I had a chance, I searched the crowd for Sabo.

I sighed heavily when I hadn't seen him anywhere. I assumed he had to stay in his home.

I gasped as I watched a small fishing boat leave the dock. The black flag it flew was easily recognizable. "Sabo..." I whispered under my breath as I watched the ship pass by the 500 times larger one.

And that's when my world stopped.

BOOM

I started crying with the first shot, and I thought just maybe he was alive...

BOOM

I could feel my own heart crack open.

Everything blurred. I felt a hand grabbed mine, we ran, and I passed out.

That's all I knew.
