It was awkward to say the least. The captain and Marco had walked off to discuss something alone, and I was stuck getting eyeballed by his crew.

A rather large man with grey hair sat with his legs propped up on the table infront of him. A cigar hung from his lips. He was cleaning his gun.

"Does he know?" The man questioned not letting the cigar fall from his lips. "Does the captain know your his daughter?"

My jaw was dropped all the way to the floor. I'm not sure if it was the smoke, or the mans words that sent me into a major coughing fit.

"Judging by that reaction, I assume you didn't know either. That doesent mean I'm going to be any less cautious of you. Bosses Daughter or not." He gave me a side glance that nearly sent shivers down my spine.

A drunken man busted through the door a little to happy. He leaned on my shoulder with a wide smile, "Do you know my son!? His names Usopp!"

Isn't that the name of the straw hats sniper?

"Are you talking about Luffys sniper?" The man's world brightened knowing I knew him.

"Oh! You know my son!" He cheered. "Is a beautiful girl like you dating my handsome son!?" I grimced at the thaught.

"No, his captain is my brother." Everyone in the room looked at me in shock.

"How many siblings does that kid have!?" Yassop cried out.

"3." I stated blankly trying to avoid the over hyper man. He wasn't very similar to his son.

"how are you shank's daughter if you're luffys sister?" The first man stopped cleaning his gun to stare at me. It was as if he was analyzing me.

"Adopted brothers, and your the one who says I'm related to Shanks." I argued noting to yell at Marco later for getting me into this mess.

"Who's related to me?" Asked a pair of heavy footsteps. He was rather intimidating. "Benn, leave the poor girl alone." He laughed loudly and proudly.

"Now whats with this someone being related to me?" He asked pouring two tankards full of Sake. He placed one infront of me making Me panic. How am I not supposed to tell people when all pirates do is drink?

Marco grabbed the tankard and downed it quickly. His actions earned everyone's attention.

"She doesent drink." His answer wasn't honest, and the crew easily caught on. All but shanks that was.

"She's your daughter." Benn said like it was nothing as he took another sip. More like downed it in one go.

"Oh, okay." He shrugged taking another sip of sake. He turned around to leave, but that's when he processed his gunners words.

"My WHAT?!?" He asked spitting out his drink. "Utas gonna kill me if I bring another one home!" Tears ran down his face in a joke like manor. This dude was weird.

"It's okay, Shanks. I don't consider you my father in the slightest. This is the first I'm hearing of it too." Shanks turned serious.

"Well, if benn says it, he's definitely right. He's the smartest man in the entire world." Shanks looked deep in thaught as he turned to leave. He sure did have a lot of faith in his crew members.

When the door closed benn gave me a weird look. "Usually, any girl to find out her father was a famous pirate would be jumping for joy or running for their lives. Your a weird one, yet I can read you easily."

He leaned in closer, almost to close. "You should be nicer to the captain. He's doing this out of the kindness of his heart." The man took another swig of sake, but this time he was so close, I couldn't stand it.

I threw up on his shoes.

The room went dead silent for a minute before everyone busted out laughing. All accept for Benn. He didn't seem too happy, but more than anything, he seemed to be analyzing me again.

I apologied and tried to help clean it, but I wasn't much help as the smell made me gag again scaring the hell out of everyone.

And that's how the next few days went.

It had been about a week on their ship, and benn hadn't stopped watching me for a second if it.

Everywhere I went I could feel him staring through my soul.

I figured Ace had a little less than six months left before he would die, but I hadn't checked on myself in a while.

I looked at myself in the mirror in the room I was staying in.

"Gamble." I whispered looking at the mirror.

8 months 5 days 3 hours 5 seconds

But something was weird. I looked down at my tummy in the mirror, and there was a number over it.

Every mother would want to see 100 years when they saw how long their child had left to live.

But that just wasn't in the cards for me.

"This power is quite twisted..." I sighed looking at the 5 months floating above my belly.

Such a shame babies can't gamble. Maybe Ace was right after all.

What did we do to make God hate us so much?
