I know Sabo comes a lot later but for my plot he comes Day after burial.
After Marco dragged me onto the ship, I could only think of one place to go. The one place I wanted to go back with him...
The door creaked open revealing the layers of dust.
The bed was unmade just like we had left it. The bed we had shared many times. I layed down facing the closed door under the covers.
I could see it.
His messy jet black hair, and his freckles that resembled a night sky. I could imagine the soft snores coming from his mouth, and the tattoos I traced constantly.
I missed the scolding heat his body emitted, especially when he was asleep. I couldn't imagine a world without him, but I had to now.
I imagined the dance we shared over and over again. Sabo was lucky as twisted as it sounds. He didn't have to remember Ace. He didn't have to experience the heartbreak.
I hugged the damaged hat close to my heart. I just lay there staring off into the distance unsure of how to do now.
I glanced at the mirror
"Gamble"
3 months 1 minute
But the months where counting as fast as hours, if not faster. I suppose you can only cheat death so long.
A gentle knock came through the door. Without waiting for an answer, a heartbroken Marco walked in.
"Captain..."
"Please... don't call me that..."
He sat beside me after closing the door. He seemed to be enjoying the memories he had too.
"(Y/N), what exactly is your devil fruit?" He asked in a sad tone of voice.
"I can see how long someone's life span is." It wasn't a long answer, and he apriciated the simplicity.
"Did you know? About Ace?" His voice cracked when he said his name.
"Yeah..." I sighed.
We both sat in silence for a minute.
"Does that mean you knew about marina?" He sounded like he was going to break down.
I simply nodded holding Aces hat tightly.
"And how long do you have...?" That question was one I didn't want him to ask.
"Maybe a few hours, maybe a day?" I refused to make eye contact with him. "Promise you'll always protect luffy for me?" I asked holding out my pinky.
"I buddy Promise."
He clicked his thumb against mine.
"Thats how Ace always made promises." Marco smiled Sadly letting tears run down his face.
"We are going to the graves... do you just want me to leave you there?" He was being genuine.
"That sounds nice..." I smiled warmly at him. "And... do you mind telling Luffy I just disappeared? He's already lost so much..."
Marco nodded without a word.
"Thank you, Marco."
And just as he said, after a few hours of the crew paying their respects, they left without me. I put his hat on his grave, as well as his knife.
It was bright and early the next morning. I didn't even realize I fell asleep by the graves until an all to familiar blond appeared walking up.
"Ah... Sabo..." I smiled as he sat down beside me.
"I'm sorry... I didn't know who you where. My own sister." He sobbed avoiding eye contact.
"It's okay, Sabo." I smiled warmly. I didn't have very long left at all. About 6 hours, but now was better than later.
"Do you remember that big animal that attacked me when we where kids?" I questioned.
"Yeah... the one that gave you that scar?" He asked glancing over.
"Thats one of my favorite memories. It showed me just how much the three of you really cared for me." The smile never left my face nor did my gaze leave Aces grave.
"You should go home, Sabo."
"But I just got here-"
"No, you should go home."
"Will you go with me?" He asked curiously.
"Try asking Luffy. And while your there if you meet an old pirate woman, can you tell her thank you? You don't have to tell her who. She'll understand." I sighed letting the cool wind blow my hair.
"Don't worry Dearie, I heard you." I spun around to be met with the familiar woman.
"May your next life me more fruitful. I'll be off now. I just wanted to pay my respects." She laughed like a witch as she left.
"She's creepy..." Sabo shuddered trying to make me laugh, but I couldn't. One last conversation played in my head.
"Sabo... i bet you resent Luffy and Ace for not saving you..." I asked giving him a side glance.
"Of course not! They are my brothers! How could they know? Did they think I would?" Sabo asked worried out of his mind.
"I was just curious."
You hear that, Ace?
"I'm glad I got to see you again. Don't tell luffy I died will ya?"
I wrapped my arms around his neck and whispered in his ear.
"Thank you for being alive, Sabo."
"Give."
I gave him my last bit of life. It wad nice to leave this earth in someone's embrace. Feeling loved. I guess that made me feel better about Ace. Of course, I probably should have been more considerate of Sabo.

"Hey... hey, (Y/N) what do you mean by that!? Wake up! Wake up (Y/N)!" Sabo cried out trying to shake her awake, but she didn't wake not Matter what.
"(Y/N)! He let out a heart wrenching scream as he held his sister close. She wouldn't wake up, and she wasn't breathing.
"Please! I can't loose you too!" He sobbed trying to shake her awake to no avail.
