Reading the last two entries of this makes me cringe
Did it make you cringe?
It made me cringe. just now and every time I read it.
The type of cringe you experience when youre looking through old pictures of you and your friends back in middle school—
The type of cringe you get when you read through your old "myspace" or if you want to be up to date— facebook statuses
The cringe you get when you look at pictures of you with braces (although I never got braces— Im just trying to relate)
No matter the type of cringe, cringe is cringe and— do you hate the word now?
I was just going to delete those entries to get rid of the cringing every time
but then Ive decided—
I'll just suffer through the cringe and keep it
Because no matter how many times it will make me cringe
Those were my feelings—
Id like to have proof of how much Ive changed
Id like to see it myself, remind myself
That that time existed
That that time, I felt.
And feeling is okay, so is cringing.
Throughout time, Ill probably cringe about this too
Time will make you cringe
But now I feel better, now ill cringe and laugh
So should you—
And to all the things we cringe about.
