Yeah yeah I am really doing this because:

a. these songs actually truly reminds me of you and they some of them tell a story of the few moments we hung out together

b. just listen to the lyrics. they are spot on. and its so damn cheesy how things like this just fall together.

Remember that one day you came over right after school

You brought a duffel bag full of books--

when really all you needed to bring was that one thing that you successfully hid from your mom

You had to write something for your english class, something about what you want to do in the future

I watched you type but you couldn't really focus. Was I distracting you?

Anyways you didn't even finish. I think that unfinished document is still saved in my laptop.

So we were just laying down in my bed

And I actually smiled--I think I asked you why you put it on

Because I guess it was just a coincidence that that song happened to be my favorite then

Like..I constantly listened to it and right when I heard you put it on--

It was amazing..as it plays while we were just chilling, laying down..

Also considering the state we were in; it was perfect.

Oh boy. I didn't even know this song existed before you.

I mean, Ive heard of the Gorillaz but never this song.

That one day we were in your car and I noticed you played nothing but the gorillaz

And you told me you were obsessed with them at that moment

So then we were hanging out at your place

Your mom wasn't home so we had the place for ourselves

You then started playing this song and you made me watch the music video

But J, what made that night so important to me is when you started dancing, when we started dancing

I remember we had our socks on and we would slide on the floor with it-- like little kids pretending to be ice skating

It was a lot of fun. And i think you took my hands and we slid around in your living room, just dancing randomly to that song

I loved it. love that song. love that moment. This song will always remind me of you. and I will keep on telling you that.
