I lay flat down on my bed. Why the fuck am I living with my ex all of a sudden? Maybe I shouldn't of blocked him on every single platform possible.
"Syd? Can we come in?"
"Sure." I sit up and look at them.
"What the hell just happened back there."
"So uhm... Jacob and I used to be a thing back in high school."
"Really?"
"Yeah and uh- he kinda broke my heart."
"What happened?"
"Honestly, I have no idea. He dumped me for no reason."
"Why is Sydney being here a bad idea?"
"Back Sophomore year of High School Sydney and I dated for almost a year actually."
"And I'm guessing something bad just happened since that broken glass is just chilling on the floor over there."
"Yeah. We made eye contact-"
"Dude- what did you do to her?"
"I dumped her. According to everyone she was cheating on me with some random jock."
"Did you ever ask her about it?"
"Well..no- now that I think about it.. maybe it was just a rumor, but I can't fix what happened like 4 years ago."
"I can't believe Jacob would do that."
"I just need an explanation on why he dumped me. Maybe we could be friends, but for some reason it still hurts to see him."
"I'm mean he broke your heart. I'd feel the same way."
"Do you guys think you could get it put of him?"
"Maybe we'll ask him about it."
"Thanks guys. Should we post something on tiktok or on Insta?"
"I say a tiktok."
After we finish our tiktok we head back downstairs. I see Jacob and Thomas talking. I hold everything back.
"Sorry about that."
Jacob walks over.
"You need help with.. that?"
"Uh.. Yeah actually."
He helps me clean up the broken glass on the ground. I look up at him once and he was also staring at me.
"So uh.. when did you know find the hype house?"
"Well i just kinda talked to Thomas about it and he said sure."
"How come I haven't seen you on any of my social media?"
"I may or may not have you blocked on everything atm."
He chuckles a little.
"What are you laughing for?"
"It's just that you have the audacity to block me on every social media platform after your the one who kinda caused the breakup."
"WHAT?" I stand and push him away from me.
