"Remember, I was willing to be the trial boyfriend. I didn't expect to fall in love with you but I did. Maybe it's for the best."
"No.. No Vin. I love you please don't break up with me. I need you.."
Vinnie kisses me. It wasn't normal. It was a goodbye.
"Sydney I'll always be here no matter what. If you ever need anything, I'll be here.."
I hold back my tears. "Thank you Vin.."
I walk out of the room and into mine and I lose it. I never realized how one mistake could ruin everything. All of a sudden my alarm goes off. It was supposed to be our 6 month anniversary.
- the next day -
I didn't move from my bed. I had no reason to. I felt empty. I had no Vinnie and I'm too pissed at Jacob to even talk to him.
Someone knocks on the door.
"Go away. I'm mourning my relationship at the moment."
Mia and Paige walk in anyway.
"Okay this is not okay."
"What do you mean? Today was supposed to be our anniversary. 6 months might I add!"
Mia and Paige sit next to me.
"I know, but you can't just sit around like this."
"But I feel like I'm dying."
"Let's go do something. Just us. Tab is at home with her family so.."
"Fine.."
I get up.

Tabitha calls me.
"Girl what happened?"
"Oh.. uh.. I'll let them tell you."
Paige takes my phone.
"Vinnie and Syd broke up.."
"WHAT!"
I take the phone back.
"Yeah and it's all Jacob's fault."
Suddenly I realize. It's not Jacob's fault. It's mine. Vinnie was right. I was still in love with Jacob, but I was also in love with Vinnie. I had a choice to make, and it's a hard one.
